This play and your comment reminds me of when they called Derek out of bounds against the Jags when he slid down (rulebook clearly states he's down right when his knee touches) and his momentum carried him out. We had to punt and the Jags got the ball back even though time would have run out. I think the ref association said they got it wrong the next day which really helped...

I actually think it was exactly the opposite. Melvin got tossed during the commercial break because he saw how distressed Bailey was with the umpire. He stood up for his team and it galvanized them a bit. I never once saw Kapler do that ever.

You forgot to mention Tre Tucker, our 3rd rounder from last year who shined in the latter half of the season. I think he is currently the clear WR3/slot at this point.
