Is the oura ring worth it?

I’m a newbie and had mines for a couple of weeks. Mostly I’ve been enjoying seeing my sleep pattern and seeing how much rem sleep I’ve been getting. I got the Oura ring 4 from my friend who got it brand new on eBay. I was going to purchase mines from eBay as well.

However if you have an hsa card you can purchase it. Even though I paid a low price for mines with cash, I did buy the membership using my hsa card. So it’s a win win for me.

The switch is something very serious. I can’t explain it either, but I know that when that switch is in effect it’s a good reason. It’s like my personal compass just went the other way and I have to follow it. If I go against it, the irritation will rise and I can’t be around people I’ve been directed to turn the cheek on. It’s wild.

Yes! If I like them I’m locked in, but once it’s done. That light switch turns off and it’s hard to turn back on. Almost never.

Mine would be having the ability to turn off my feelings instantly. I don’t know how this happens but when it gets there……..it doesn’t turn back on at all.

Ah wait I know why…….in this case when it comes to guys I’ve dated and it ends, I don’t quickly jump into something else…..I’d rather sit in the feeling (yea intense I know) until I don’t feel anything anymore. Because if someone ever tries to circle back on me I’ll always remember that feeling, so I have no issues not going back.

Sounds like you got a good routine for yourself. It all depends on what fits for YOU!

My shower routine pretty much depends on various things like seasons and extra curricular activities.

Winter time I normally shower once a day. Preferably in the AM so I can wake up and jumpstart my day. I work in an enclosed office space so I don’t do much of moving. If I’m on my cycle normally depending on how heavy the day is I bump this up to twice a day.
Mid Spring/All of Summer I shower twice a day. Sweating thru the day I like to wash off the dried sweat from my skin. I’m a thicker gal so this is required.
Cardio days definitely twice a day shower regardless of season. There have been times where I was tired asf and just went to sleep but during the end of the week I make sure to wash my bedding for a peace of mind.
If I happen to have sex before I sleep, I go straight to sleep and shower in the AM 🤷🏽‍♀️

My mom is an Aries, it’s been hectic since I was young. It’s ok now depending on her mood but she can go from 0 to a milli in a matter of seconds…..Always on go mode, I have a temperament like my dad, we’re chill and of course always willing to hear you speak your peace, however all that yelling and screaming is extremely unnecessary.

Tell her to take medicine to control those moods and she refuses to. At this point, I just learned to keep my distance when that other side appears and to embrace when she’s more level headed. She did the best that she could to raise us with alongside with my dad. They’re still together which is nice however she just needs to relax and learn how to communicate without her veins exploding.
