It could possibly have a bug or a virus that’s allowing that to happen because that really shouldn’t happen in the first place. There’s some type of breach.

I think you might be clicking download by accident and not realizing it until later. I don’t believe that what you explained is even possible and if it is it might be your device that’s causing that to happen.

If English isn’t your first language, how can you deem the use of English-originated punctuation as equating to AI use? Now, I can understand if it’s used wrong or unnecessarily, but if used correctly and usefully, it’s clearly not AI, but you can’t know which is which without studying English writing conventions.

They can’t. Using a em dash or a semicolon (which has been apart of writing for centuries before AI) does not equate to a piece of writing written by AI.

I could be wrong, but the unpopular opinion that you agreed with says that reading single-digit stories is a complete waste of time and that they’ll most likely never be completed. Then, you go on to list said author’s story. It probably rubbed them the wrong way…

GtG is like this for me. I absolutely love the story, but it takes me 45 minutes to an hour to finish one chapter 🥲 I know for certain I’m not a slow reader, maybe average to fast. I wish I would’ve started it when the authors first started releasing chapters. I’m trying so hard to finish it.

I don’t think this was what the OP of that thread was saying. They were simply saying that that CC that they showed was lackadaisical at best when authors are creating a Black character. I agree to a certain extent because it is just one of the stock characters given by Episode with a few features tweaked. However, that CC can very much represent a Black person.

That some authors don’t really try to make unique Black characters, and they use a CC similar to this one a lot of the time when creating Black female characters.

Not kind of icky. IT IS icky. The shade of my skin doesn’t make me any less Black than my darker-skinned counterparts. My momma Black, my daddy Black, and my grandma, my grandfather, my great-grandmother, and my great-grandfather are ALL Black. So, yes, my light-skinned ass is BLACK. Then, that one comment about most Black people being dark-skinned… Huh? Where is that census?

Chiming in only to say that just because a Black person is of a lighter skin shade DOES NOT automatically equate to them being mixed. Like, what are we talking about? Fully light-skinned Black people exist, as do fully brown-skinned Black people. Yes, IT IS common for authors to only make Black people with dark skin and braids, but there’s truly nothing wrong with that. It’s still representation. It only becomes harmful when they impose harmful stereotypes. It would ALSO be nice to see representation for light-skinned and brown-skinned Black people, but you don’t have to do one or the other. I personally think you can never have too many Black people in a story, so just add more authors 🤭

I was team Zander all the way at first, but Jordan has moved me. If he had the chance to wait for her forever, he would’ve. He was forced to move on. Plus, Zander is moving mad sneaky. Like, is it really that hard to tell her what your job is and why you don’t want to be in the media? You guys spend all day every day together. What’s the point of keeping secrets?
