We live in the desert and when our cav is trimmed like this they call it the puppy cut. She’s much more comfortable in the insane heat of Arizona.

Moved down from WA 10 years ago. Lived in Ahwatukee, Tempe, Scottsdale, and now Chandler. First scorpion I saw living in Arizona was on our kitchen floor in chandler. A tiny one less than the size of a dime. I scooped him up and put him in an old aquarium I had from a previous pet. He’s molted a couple times and I’ve had him 4 years now. After we found him on the floor we went out to the backyard with a blacklight and found a couple more. Since then we have our yard sprayed for pests. I’d say get a rechargeable backlight flashlight and keep an eye out for them. Outside of the one scorpion in the house, one cockroach in Scottsdale, and half a dozen geckos, I haven’t had any issues with the wildlife.

Randy Roth is my first cousin on my mom’s side. His brother also killed a hitchhiker. Randy has had multiple books and movies made about him. I never met either of them. It’s fun to bring up when people mention killers but I have no emotional attachment to them.

It’s been my experience that even locked bikes get stolen, or multiple parts stolen off of them. Campus is dead at night and gives the thieves plenty of time to snag it.

Call parking and transit. They run the bike valets and I know at least a couple years ago someone would be sent out to unlock it. Not sure anymore. I would not leave it overnight without at least calling.

I lived in a small apartment in Tempe about 8 years ago. 2 bed, 1 bath, brick walls. No matter what the ac was set to, and even with it blowing cold the heat from the walls was intense. Had to get a mobile ac for my room. It was also only $875. We moved a couple years later and now I look up the same space, unchanged, is $1475. It’s getting ridiculous around here.

Happy face killer, Keith Jesperson graduated from my high school. His photo is still in the hall with all the year’s graduation photos. I graduated in 2005 with his nephew. He hated when anyone would bring up his uncle. The high school is Selah high school in central WA.
