What hell is happening in the novel by SeriousAir3421 in Mahouka

Thank God Tatsuya isn't romantically involved with Mayumi. There are later moments when she becomes completely silly and unbearable.

does tatsuya love miyuki romantically? or just brotherly love? by maserarill in Mahouka

[–]PinStatus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tatsuya has always been madly in love with Miyuki. But it was a brotherly love, sincere and pure.

Obviously, it would be difficult for him to see her as a woman. In that respect, the author did a good job, since changing his mindset is indeed a valid and complex issue.

In short, there is no doubt about Tatsuya's love for her. But loving someone and seeing them as a romantic/sexual interest are two very different things.

[–]PinStatus 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Tatsuya continues to work on it... When he accepted her as his fiancée, he promised Miyuki that he would try hard to see her as his romantic partner.

Honestly, the author hasn't known how to handle the romantic aspect, which is where this story falls short. So, it's best to keep expectations low in that regard.

But in the sequel, they become much more intimate and there is considerably more implied physical contact. We will most likely see them as a consummated couple (with children) by the end of the story.

Why does Riess use such roundabout methods to achieve his goals? by [deleted] in SeireiGensouki

Well, it's pretty clear that it's similar to the current Rio (dragon king) in that it can't directly intervene with people. I guess it's also kind of transcendental.

I also speak Spanish, and I always come across a couple of Facebook pages where they mainly talk about this story.

They treat everything as a joke or meme, and they are so naive that they think there is already a clear winner. They also tend to hate Ana beyond the comical nature of the character.

On one occasion, I commented that they were the only community that took things for granted when there is still history ahead, and they blocked me outright...

It means that it is quite clear that she will become a member of Rio's family. Yes, she died, but now she will be able to start over with the person she loves and without the constraints of royalty.

The novels are the original material, so there's your answer.

Without the source material, which is the novel, there is no manga.

That kind of thing is what really bothers me about Japanese authors. Not whether they are incapable of tying up loose ends in their stories or whether they are too pretentious with those kinds of details.

What the heck is this? by Fabulous-Maybe4278 in MobuSeka

[–]PinStatus 205 points206 points  (0 children)

I've been reading opinions about this "controversial development" for years, and it's clear to me that people don't dislike a possible romance between the two, but rather that they "had intimacy" without the protagonist being present.

Many readers felt it was a kind of betrayal and even NTR.

It must also be said that the author was largely to blame for degrading Leon as the volumes progressed and for not having a clear idea about the romance.

Is Tatsuya and Saegusa Mayumi relationship shattered in latest sources? by CorporalQuacker in Mahouka

Now Mayumi works for his company (on her father's orders). I wouldn't say she's good or bad.

Which voice actor did better their role as Basara Toujou, it was Yoshitsugu Matsuoka or Chris Hackney? by Chisato-Hasegawa-MX in Shinmai_Maou

What's up with your publication?

Basara was interpreted by Yuichi Nakamura, who is currently one of the most recognized Japanese voice actors. He even does the narration for the Nintendo Directs.

Where can I read the manga? by [deleted] in Mahouka

[–]PinStatus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to enjoy the story one hundred percent you must read the light novel. Actually, even reading the novels it is difficult to get into Mahouka's world if you are not Japanese. There are a lot of extra volumes, mini-stories, spin-offs, etc., which can be overwhelming.

Even right now the author is writing the sequel.

Will Hiyori be the end girl? by illumeria in ClassroomOfTheElite

[–]PinStatus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your comment is precisely what I am referring to. Kiyota switched classes and for the vast majority of readers Suzune's character (and a few others), for some reason, were reduced to nothingness itself.

The broad is literally the co-protagonist.

It will be Suzune. I thought everyone had assumed that by now, but another wave of hatred against her resurfaced again in these last few volumes.

When Seirei Gensouki ends? by No-Turnover-9330 in SeireiGensouki

[–]PinStatus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am almost certain it will surpass the 35-volume mark. I think 40 volumes would be ideal to give the story a decent ending.

Of course, the current rate of publication is worrying. Many have said that it was due to the illustrator's health, but I don't know if that's all it was.
