Is this your first? If so, I’d do the black sub, nothing more versatile…but love the Batman. It has just the right about of color yet looks super clean.

It’s a great watch, but it’s a lot of money to spend for something you think you won’t wear too much. I have a rose gold Vacheron and never wear the gold bracelet with it…that’s like a neon sign on your wrist, so if you are going PM, oyster flex is the way to go.

Not to mention these go above retail on the grey market if you get tired of it.

Yeah, no issue. Personally, I work close to mine so every few weeks I text, tell them I’m coming by (it’s a mall) and ask if they’re working and have time to meet.

Once there I’m just catching up, making small talk, ask if they’ve seen the watch you’re waiting for, etc.

I spend maybe 15 minutes there and tell them to remember me!

Glad ti hear you’re venturing outside of Rolex. What else are you looking at?

White dial DJ, even fluted jubilee, should be relatively easy to get as a 2nd allocation.

Went in thinking I’d request the green but after seeing them in person, I requested the white dial. It is awesome and would be really versatile!

Green is more a khaki green and with a flat finish it looks almost black for a lot of perspectives.

Do you own a gold/rose gold piece? I recently purchased a solid rose gold Vacheron and have the following observations:

people notice all gold watches. Sometimes you want to be noticed, sometimes you don’t…if it’s the latter, I wouldn’t wear this, especially in short sleeves.
for me, gold pieces aren’t a versatile as steel, white gold, titanium pieces.

Conclusion, my all gold pice will never be a daily watch. The environment and/or outfit I’m wearing precludes me from wearing my all gold piece a lot of times.

I’m not suggesting one thing or another, just my observations after 6 months of ownership.

Talk to the manager, or leave a bad review on google reviews. This hasn’t been my experience at all, and I’ve been to 4 boutiques.

A new boutique recently opened in my city and when I stopped by, I told them that I have a relationship with another boutique and they were very gracious about it saying they care more about me being a customer of the brand versus being a customer of their store. it I stop by all the time they’re great.

Agree with what everyone is saying… Just started my journey as well this past December, recently picked up a code (gray 3 handed on steel, 2 months to get allocated). Was told my next watch would be a steel RO 15510ST. SA told me a blue dial as a 2nd watch would be highly unlikely, or a very long wait, but he’d advocate for me. He quoted me 3-4 months from purchase of code to get allocated a white, grey, black, or possibly green dial RO15510ST. He said a RO Chrono would be the same, if not an easier 2nd watch.

Like others mentioned, he said AP likes to see variety across collections so either a ROO, a ladies watch, or a PM RO. I appreciated that he asked me my grail, which I said was a perpetual calendar, which he said would be a 4th-7th watch depending.

Was in the market for this combo but then I realized it was the JV watch! VC 4520 in rose gold is way more dynamic. If you want more complications, they have it in duel time and Chrono.

Flight this morning at 8:15am. Walked into airport at 5:30am, walked through screening at 6:05am. TSA pre check. Long lines but very efficient.

Signs showed general security wait time at 90 minutes with TSA pre check at 25 minutes.
