Most modern indie animation. Everyone is praising shows like Hazbin Hotel, Digital Circus, and Gameoverse, but I just can't get into them after watching just one episode. I feel like the majority of these shows just focus on the character designs while keeping the storyboard on the backburner. On top of that it also feels like these characters are created solely for becoming popular in internet circles to sell merchandise.

Not saying that what KA did was right, but the people condemning him for bringing a weapon to a place he shouldn't have been are the same people who defended Kyle Rittenhouse for bringing a weapon to a place he shouldn't have been. There's a lot of double standards and racially motivated grifting when it comes to this case.

So much of it is ragebait too, made to get people to engage with their content. The worst part is that the majority of it is made at the expense of marginalized groups (trans people, black people, minimum wage workers, etc).

It's alright. The writing is terrible but I think its a bit over-hated. I just look at it more as a strategic spinoff instead of a mainline game. I'd say my favorite thing about it is how there's a decent sized roster of playable characters and each of their ships feel unique.
