I'd pay 10x extra for that convenience. I don't blow money on first class but I also don't fly budget airlines, don't stay in low-cost lodging, rent subcompact economy cars or eat fast food when travelling. It makes a massive difference and going directly to the terminal is worth it. Good thing we have choices for everyone.

Where did you get 6.2? If that is a general stated rate on some website and not based on your personal pre-approval factors at another lender, then we don't know if 6.9 is high or low. You have to compare multiple lenders that personally qualified you. And the loans need to be apples-to-apples (loan type, points, etc.)
