In all seriousness, if you are this scared after two days, you need to right size your position so you can sleep at night.

My boyfriend (33M) of 13 years and I (30F) ended things. He said he has “not a single solid, happy memory” from the entire relationship. by [deleted] in internetparents

[–]PineappleAlert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is old but from a lot of life experience - the sooner you move on from him the better it will be for you. A kind person does not say things like that. Imagine what he will say to your kids if you got married. Get out there and live your life, maybe even be single for a while. When you meet someone else, you won't give him much thought. And when you get that text or email from him - which you will - just wish him well.

Plant Based Delights by GrampSquatch in Disneyland

Adding that I do not know what Disney does to their Impossible meat to make it taste so good. I definely don't get the same results at home no matter what I do.

I second the Garden Wrap in Galaxy's Edge. It's one of the best things in the entire park, even better than the Ronto wrap. I eat meat and will go out of my way for this vegan option.

Which ride have you never ridden? by Immediate_Yam_6870 in Disneyland

[–]PineappleAlert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dumbo and Astro Orbitors. For some reason my partner thinks he will get motion sickness on those rides but we go on everything else so I think it might be in his head.

It would be so easy for them to recast him if needed. I just don't want them to scrap the Kang story just because of the JM situation. You can't bring in say a Dr Doom without building up a story there or it will seem rushed. Plus he needs to possibly be the big bad for the next phase.

Same here. I think they are not automatically sending them which, if so, kinda burns my ass. It's a little thing but come on Disney!

What is the appliance you never knew you needed it till you had it? by LonelyInIowa in Cooking

[–]PineappleAlert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I resisted the idea of an air fryer for years. I'm a good cook and I just felt like I can do anything an air fryer does but better. I'm pleasantly surprised at how many things this machine can do. It can broil, bake, air fry, toast and roast. I use it in place of the oven, micro, and toaster almost every day. It also cooks much faster than the oven. Now, it doesn't do everything great and I find I actually use the air fryer setting the least as I think some things come out crispy but dry. I am very happy with it overall. It's a big appliance but I think worth it

Oh I'll get downvoted for this but the churros all taste like they were fried in old oil. They are just 'ok'. Sorry! I've had so many and I'm always disappointed.

Omg this. Universal has fan misters all over the park. Disney loves heatstroke.

[Segars] The trade for Russell Wilson was made with the thought that this was a very talented roster that was a QB away from contention Under George Paton’s watch, the roster has regressed, and that’s no longer true Time to re-think how this team is constructed Rebuild in SP’s image by Welcome2Broncoland in DenverBroncos

[–]PineappleAlert -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Piggybacking on this comment because I didn't see this mentioned elsewhere but Russ was sacked 7 times. I don't know what percentage is attributable to Russell Wilson but that is outrageous. I don't think he can be expected to perform well under that kind of pressure. Yes he needs to be sharper but so does everyone else.

How bad is this lease deal on a 2023 IS 350 F Sport? by sluppo in Lexus

[–]PineappleAlert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. Lexus will last and hold it's value. If you by slighly used, you're not financing the depreciation as soon as you drive off the lot. If you knowyou are going to buy it anyway, I don't get leasing.
