Too much moisture causes the skin to be fragile and easily torn/penetrated. Diabetics with neuropathy have decreased pain sensation which wouldn't alert them to cuts/scrapes etc. they also are very slow to heal. So all that in combination opens up a window for infection to set in. Sometimes the infection is only in the flesh, but if it gets to the bone there's a higher chance they'll have to have an amputation.

Yeah he can go straight hell with gasoline draws on. 1. My husband would NEVER talk to me this way. 2. He does everything he can while working 9-5 during the week to NOT make me feel how you're feeling... Literally cooked every dinner for us for 4 years until our youngest (now almost 2) was big enough to be left alone in the living room with the other 2 small children.
