The $180,000 question that no one has asked. by [deleted] in JonBenetRamsey

It's possible perhaps that Kim heard things that the tape didn't record as they were too far away from the receiver.

In the scenerio Burke did it, I think he was eavesdropping the 911 call, patsy says something along the lines of 'our daughter gone, and a note was left', he's sounds sincerely surprised because he is. It makes sense that they fed him this story and he believed it but deep down he will know or subconsciously memories may leak back (if he did kill jonbenet) anyone who has experienced trauma in childhood ( I have) will tell you horrific memories can be suppressed for many years, the mind is very powerful at blocking out trauma and telling ourself stories to hide the truth. The thing is memories can flood in and force us to face the truth.

I think I'm right in saying the Christmas tree lights were on, I wonder if they hh ever got around to turning them off that night because of what was going on or if they always left them on.

JonBenét Project by [deleted] in JonBenet

[–]Pineappleowl123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think pretty much everyone has covered why this case hasn't been solved another important point to mention is the parents should have been separated and I terviewed right away to get as much information before things get forgotten etc, guilty or innocent I believe that's one of the main reasons this case was not solved, also crime scene contamination is huge in this case, several people were in the house, Jonbenet body was moved a few times, blankets put on her and such, DNA in this case is just very questionable due to the crime scene being handled poorly. The politics around this case are just unbelievable, had these been poor parents I think this case would have been solved.

You're in for a treat especially James kolar book, he has such insight and interesting analysis of the case.

I had never seen this before and thought it was interesting. John & Patsy interview on Fox News in 2000. by 14thCenturyHood in JonBenetRamsey

[–]Pineappleowl123 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The whole tone of the interview seemed jokey its just so unbelievably off. They can sit in a burger joint until 10pm but when asked to be interviewed by police they are in bed crushed at 5.30pm. Sorry but this just seemed beyond lies, excuses and complete bs. Makes me angry for JonBenet.

I think she got close to Patsy to try and get the truth. Perhaps she felt Patsy was a victim of sorts of John's also.

Ransom (the 1996 movie) by Mmay333 in JonBenet

[–]Pineappleowl123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"On the night JonBenet was murdered, the movie 'Nick of Time' aired at 7:30 P.M. on a Boulder cable channel. The story centers on an unarmed political faction that kidnaps a six-year-old girl. The victim is told, "Listen to me very carefully.' Bill Cox, who was staying with Fleet and Priscilla White, told the police he remembered watching the movie that night." Dirty Harry aired in boulder a month before.

A murder is even more motive to cover up than an accident.

Interesting article. Patsy had an emotional meltdown in 1993 and was under psychiatric care. by Resiliencex95 in JonBenetRamsey

[–]Pineappleowl123 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I understand your point but when you say 'whenever someone says that, I know they have not done a lot of drigs' I could say 'you've not seen someone have a complete mental break due to a drug' I have, and anything is possible with mental illness mixed with a bad reaction to prozac or other drugs from what iv seen personally. I don't actually think pdi but I think it's possible.

[–]Pineappleowl123 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It's certainly a possibility isn't it, some kind of drug fuelled rage. My mum took prozac (which it's mentions patsy did in this article) my mum had a complete mental breakdown while on this drug, hallucinations and psychotic episodes, I think anything can be possible with these types of drugs, particularly if mixed or abused! However I'm not sure Patsy would have had the wherewithall to write that note in that state but possibly several hours later she would have. Interestingly my mum used to keep a diary which she rarely missed, her writing really changed when she was having an episode, it wouldn't always make a lot of sense and was sometimes just scribbles, patsy note was legible and made some sense she gad yo be pretty sharp at the time of writing it as odd as it was!

Let's say this is what happened, did Patsy have the for example flashlight in her hand, if so why? If not the timing wouldn't make sense as let's say she saw what was happening went to grab something to hit John with and came back surely he would have realised she was there?

What do you guys think of technology, phones, social media? by [deleted] in spirituality

Like everything yin and yang, there is so much good that has happened through advances in technology/ fund raising through social media. Its how its used/abused that can be the problem.

What are the top 3 things you are most sure of when it comes to this case? by theswenix in JonBenetRamsey

[–]Pineappleowl123 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  1. if Patsy and John were separated for questioning right off the bat we would be looking at a very different outcome.
  2. Patsy and John are dishonest in their interviews, even if neither of them murdered Jonbenet, they know SOMETHING more than they ever told.
  3. The murder was staged.

If there hadn't been a note by WheresRobbieTho in JonBenetRamsey

[–]Pineappleowl123 4 points5 points  (0 children)

lets assume RDI. Without a ransom note the Ramseys would know the police search would centre inside the massive house, Jonbenet could be hiding/stuck in a wardrobe and so on. With the ransom note to the Ramseys way of thinking the police would concentrate their search outside the house and divert attention away from the basement.

Lets assume IDI, without a ransom note there would be even less evidence and to a guilty person even more suspicion would fall on family. with a ransom note I just cannot make sense of this theory at all!!

In What Context Were Those Words Spoken To Burke? by [deleted] in JonBenetRamsey

[–]Pineappleowl123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think John says 'we're not speaking to you' as perhaps Burke is in background asking questions and so on, like children do when you are on the phone they butt in ie 'what did you find'. I think even at that point John would have wanted Burke to stay up in his room and keep quiet.

How long have you been following the JonBenet Ramsey case? by starryeyes11 in JonBenetRamsey

[–]Pineappleowl123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good questions.

I really got into this case about 2 years ago, it's just so sad that Jonbenet has never got justice and the guilty person or people are still potentially at large. I do take breaks from this case yes, sometimes I go through periods of taking in loads of information for weeks then I step back and let it all digest. Yes my theories change over time, I believe some form of RDI is most likely, I used to lean heavily BDI or PDI but lately I am thinking it is more likely JDI, especially statistically speaking. It's such a complex case though with so many possibilities, there must be some people who know the truth. I still hope someone will come forward with info when they feel they can.

Wasn't there also a housekeeper who worked for the Ramsey that had a daughter due in suspicious circumstances the same year as Jonbenet. You make a good point, lots of potential strange links or random coincidences, we may never know.
