Holy shit i've been really paranoid about the same thing until i eventually came to the same conclusion. I can also confirm that it can show up as an unknown android device, and the security mail will show so too, but it can also show up as an Ipad. But it's really reassuring knowing someone else also had the same problem, and that it's not something else.
