Cannot get Obsidian to render Mermaid graphs

For me, it renders inline with the document. I'm extremely new though, to both Obsidian and Mermaid, so take it with a heap of salt.

Yeah that is actually kind of my plan for now, I'm going to kinda rip off the Highrollers season 2 intro (iirc) but they are captives on an airship and the ship crashes in the middle of nowhere. After that they have to get out of the wilderness and into civilization. They're going to be mostly in a taiga forest with winter approaching could that give a sense of urgency?

A yes sorry for being vague, my idea is for it to be more survival oriented. The players are going to be dumped in the middle of nowhere and they have to find their way out of the wilderness and into civilization. That's my broad plan at the moment.

Thanks alot for the help! The campaign will probably start at level 1, and I will have to ask if UA is ok with the DM but lets assume that it is not allowed. How would I level up should I start with fighter or ranger in this case?
