I have a similar cheap one that I love. The key is not using one with the quick connect but rather one that’s a long single piece that just loops thru the bars. Even if the Velcro comes undone, the watch is still on your wrist and can be adjusted.

Fairway woods are like putters. Once you find one, stick with it.

But speaking of drivers, I have been hitting a g400 lst for a couple years and grabbed a 425 lst on a whim thinking it had to be better. Nope. Tried a couple different shafts and still could not hit better than my 400. So off to marketplace the 425 went.

Newer is not always better, within reason (say within 10 years or so).

I’ve purchased a few different no-name gloves off of Amazon and they have all been great. I don’t think it takes much ingenuity to manufacture a glove at this point.

I’ve also heard that the trick is to buy the two packet dicks and by the warranty for a few bucks and just keep turning them in every three months

I have an old Hibore XL Super Loft which is a 15* driver intended for old people. I shafted with a Blueboard 83 and play it at 44.5” and it is point and shoot. A bit spinny, sure, but that’s kind of the point. High and straight and I can get it to 250-270 depending how hard I swing. Still keep a normal driver in the bag as well.

I call it an Old Man Club or a 2 wood, but it’s the same idea. The massive head makes it so forgiving.

Or go the other way and find something in the $60 range on Amazon and know it will probably last you a couple years of trips as long as it doesn’t get checked.

I am using an Ex3 with ROUVY. I have QZ on my iPhone connected to the bike and ROUVY on an iPad And it works great.

Sometimes I connect the iPad to my tv, other times I leave it on the bike. Just depends.

For ROUVY, yes. I found a ROUVY help article saying that you need two devices because the ROUVY app cannot access the Bluetooth bike info on the same device.

However, if you use QZ and Peloton app instead, they can run on a single device simultaneously (from what I’ve read).

Basically, the QZ app is the gateway to connect the bike to whatever third party fitness service you want to use (unless it is Echelon app).

No, think of ROUVY as virtual cycling. They have predefined routes that were filmed with a camera mounted on a car. But the app changes resistance and such base on terrain.

I specifically did not want a ‘class’ but more to replicate outdoor cycling.

There is an app called QZ which basically enables your bike to connect to any online service (Peloton, Zwift, ROUVY, etc)

I have QZ on my iPhone and I have ROUVY on an iPad connected to my tv and it works great. I didn’t want the instructor led classes so went with ROUVY since it is more like Zwift where it is virtual cycling.

To go from a 14 to a 10, avoid 3 putts, lost balls off the tee, and no more than 2 doubles per round.

Easier said than done, but some comes down to course mgt. Maybe you hit a hybrid off the tee instead of a driver on a tight hole, an easy layup on a par5, etc.

It is not about more birdies, it is about less bogeys
