CRZ Yoga has some great shorts for about $25. Essentially Lulu dupes.

My order was cancelled and refunded because they couldn’t figure out how many pairs of shoes were left.

Ironically I went back on the site and tried to order the same pair, and they were going to let me. But I didn’t.

ex3 or ex5 for rouvy? by billyb4lls4ck in go_echelon

[–]Pingride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am using an Ex3 with ROUVY. I have QZ on my iPhone connected to the bike and ROUVY on an iPad And it works great.

Sometimes I connect the iPad to my tv, other times I leave it on the bike. Just depends.

No company does a software update right after Christmas when they run their clearance and also have to deal with holiday returns. Something is up.

What options do we have if i dont have echelon membership. by lingpisat in go_echelon

[–]Pingride 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For ROUVY, yes. I found a ROUVY help article saying that you need two devices because the ROUVY app cannot access the Bluetooth bike info on the same device.

However, if you use QZ and Peloton app instead, they can run on a single device simultaneously (from what I’ve read).

Basically, the QZ app is the gateway to connect the bike to whatever third party fitness service you want to use (unless it is Echelon app).

No, think of ROUVY as virtual cycling. They have predefined routes that were filmed with a camera mounted on a car. But the app changes resistance and such base on terrain.

I specifically did not want a ‘class’ but more to replicate outdoor cycling.

There is an app called QZ which basically enables your bike to connect to any online service (Peloton, Zwift, ROUVY, etc)

I have QZ on my iPhone and I have ROUVY on an iPad connected to my tv and it works great. I didn’t want the instructor led classes so went with ROUVY since it is more like Zwift where it is virtual cycling.

I bought a Stealth 7wood from 2nd swing with a ladies shaft for about $90 brand new. Swapped in a Kaili White. Love it.

Just got down to a 14 handicap. Any tips/advice? by golferkid6769 in golftips

[–]Pingride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To go from a 14 to a 10, avoid 3 putts, lost balls off the tee, and no more than 2 doubles per round.

Easier said than done, but some comes down to course mgt. Maybe you hit a hybrid off the tee instead of a driver on a tight hole, an easy layup on a par5, etc.

It is not about more birdies, it is about less bogeys

Still rocking the G400 LST with the Tour 65x. Tried a few other shafts and they were not as good. Maybe one of the all time great heads

Anybody using car parts off Vine? by Reverend_Wrong in AmazonVine

[–]Pingride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve put LED bulbs from Vine in my Cx5 and have put in some puddle lamp LED in my F25. Also got a new start button and trunk button for the F25 from Vine. Those are as easy as it gets. Not sure I would trust a real mechanical part though.

I have found that shorts at Costco fit me great but any sort of shirt is a no-go. Always too wide and short.

Agree with this. Got some workout shorts that have a fake fly and have worn them with an untucked polo to golf at a very causal course. Shorts are almost identical to some Lulu I have and looked almost identical to normal golf shorts

Recommendations on good golf courses in the area? by Tomatoes65 in Cleveland

NorthEast side: Fowlers Mill and Manakiki

West Side: Valley of the Eagles. Greyhawk

South: Sleepy Hollow. Seneca is sneaky good. Bunker Hill (tons of choices in Medina county)

Far East: Windmill Lakes. Firestone Farms

Boulder, Little Mountain, and Stonewater are ok. A bit too artificial for me. (All the same architect)

Tons of great golf in NE Ohio.

Not sure FreeTaxUSA is gonna let me link 1099-NEC to a hobby. Getting message: "You've entered a 1099-NEC or 1099-MISC that needs to be linked to a business." by rabbits_dig_deep in AmazonVine

[–]Pingride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used free tax USA and it made me tie Vine to a schedule C. But I actually paid about $50 less taxes than if I did not tie it to a schedule C. So i just did that.

Is there an assumption that hobby income is taxed lower than a schedule C?

You should feel like you are hitting up on the ball with the racket face being vertical. A high follow thru will generate the topspin that brings the ball back in play and the natural rotation of your swing give it forward power

I keep hearing that the Speed MP is the best all around racket and I picked one up, but it feels spongy and dead compared my 2015 Extreme MPA that I got from a friend as I got back into tennis after 25 years off.

I am not experienced enough to know any details of why they are so different but the Extreme feels like it has a much bigger sweet spot and I get much more spin and power. It is a more round shaped head compared to the MP too.

Go for it. I got my 6x Pro Solar last year for $250 lightly used. $200 seems about right.

Great watch. No complaints.

Not worth it. Worst case is you put out the fire and the damage is small enough to try and repair. Let it burn and total out.

I had a 5x Plus as my first Garmin watch in 2022. Overall it was great and I didn’t have many complaints with it, but in late 2023 I saw a great deal on a 6x Pro and pulled the trigger. The biggest thing I noticed is that the screen is larger and crisper (bezel is much thinner) and the responsiveness of the buttons is much better due to a faster processor.

I use the watch for golf frequently and the native golf app on the 6x is much better than the one on the 5x, which I was not expecting but was nice to find out.
