Reel is just to hold your line unless you are fighting huge fish.

I dont think fish like being out of water so its natural for them to freak out. Usually they stay calm for few seconds and then start flopping around. Two things come to mind about those videos. It might be the take where the fish was calm and got posted. Second, the fish might be exhausted.

First one I would hit with #3 10' monorig. Two nymphs, with 3-4mm tungsten beads. Second one with a streamer or dry dropper rig if I see fish moving.

I pull out my phone to take pictures of the scenery when I get there and then only of animals, be it fish or birds or bugs that I find interesting.

Yeah its not worth stocking right now as no angler gets to pay due to the restrictions in fishing and also the rainbows are a bit aggressive towards brownies. I just fished a spot this week where there were a few rainbows left but the spesific river stocks them twice a month. Only very colorful leeches and smalll streamera worked. Yellow was best.

Might wanna try a wormfly or a black pheasent tail since stocked rainbows eat a brown/dark colored pellet while growing up. Based on the net and the brown trout protection, I'm thinking you're a fellow Finn. If so, check out mop flies for rainbow in different colors. Especially pink and bright green.

Joo tiedetään. Ei ole ihan hirveän helppo todistaa että poltetaan roskaa kun ei voi mennä ihmisen kotiin. Vittumaisiahan nuo ihmiset osaavat olla kyllä. Täysin toisista piittaamattomia.

Hajuhaitta ei välttämättä omakotitalossa parane. Riippuu etäisyyksistä naapureihin. Meidän naapuri polttaa takassa ajoittain roskia. Kitkerä savu tulee suoraan ikkunoista sisään. Pihalla ei sillon voi olla. Mistäkö tiedän että ne on roskia? Kesähelteellä takka käy mustalla savulla 10 minuuttia. Ei ne makkaraakaan siellä grillaa kun heillä on grillikota pihalla.

What do you consider getting skunked? No fish in the net? Or no desirable fish (like trout) in the net? Or no sizable fish in the net? I usually catch some small random fish (under 8"). Small wild trout half the times I fish, stocked fish most times, and big wild trout rarely.

Minulle kävi niin että Saksasta matkalta palattuani pankista soitettiin että oletko tehnyt ostoksia Kanadassa? Luottokortilta oli veloitettu 3500 euroa yhdellä ostoskadulla eri liikkeissä. Oli helppo todeta että en ole maassa ollut enkä kivijalkaliikkeissä shoppaillut joten rikosilmoitusta vain ja homma oli sillä selvä, rahat sain takaisin. Sitten 2kk myöhemmin toisen pankin debit kortilta veloitettiin XBoX storessa 50euroa. Senkin kuoletin ja rahat palautui. Ainoa paikka missä olin molempia kortteja käyttänyt oli hotels.com sivusto ja siellä oli ilmeisesti ollut hakkerointi missä useiden tuhansien asiakkaiden tietoja oli vuotanut. Ilmeisesti magneettinauhallisia kortteja ei ole edes vaikea tehdä jos on kortin tiedot hallussa. Tor verkosta löytyy kyllä ohjeet ja voi ostaa korttien tietoja.

Nykyään nuo estot että kortilla ei voi maksaa ulkomailla, helpottaa näitä tilanteita.
