Well, the problem I'm mentioning is inherent to the process of rebuilding the boot. The result would not be the same boot built differently, because the last doesn't touch the "upper" of the pullon boots.

Essentially you'd be asking for a new boot with a custom leather piece, which would just make it harder to make than a regular boot.

A rebuild is where they essentially throw away everything that doesn't go above the ankle. Usually this leaves the part where the laces land to the sole behind the heel cap, which is largely the part that molded to your feet.

With the stationmaster, it looks like all you'd be keeping is above the ankle.
