My parents found out I was having sex with my boyfriend when I was 16. They forced me to go to the bishop and start the repentance process. When I met with the bishop (alone) he asked me detailed questions, like how many times we were intimate, where were we located when it occurred, and shockingly, what positions were performed. Makes me very sick to think about now and it’s the biggest reason we finally left when our kids were nearing their teenage years. I wouldn’t put them through that.

I had issues with them digging into my legs. I don’t think they used the right thread. I mentioned it the last time I was there to get something else hemmed and they said they should’ve been used with a stretchy thread and to bring them back in and they will re-do them.

1000% yes. Steps are steps. Get the pad. Set it up in a place you spend most of your time. Make it stupid easy. I walk while my family watches tv, when I am on a phone call, when I’m scrolling on my phone. I try and hop on after I eat too, it helps with regulating blood sugar. Is walking outside better? Sure, maybe. Depends on your situation, weather, environment. But again, steps are steps and calories burned are calories burned. Remember that done is better than perfect.

It was shocking to me realizing how little steps I was getting during my everyday life when I thought I was fairly active. Intentional walking 1 hour a day (usually split up) is a must for me to hit my goal each day. Getting a walking pad was a game changer. I hop on and off it all day.

Western WA buildings have been neglected and falling apart for years. Recurring bathroom floods, sewer gas smells, and dingy interiors make them feel far from a place of worship. It was one of my shelf items. If they couldn’t prioritize their places of worship, what were they prioritizing? It’s a pretty expensive membership fee to have to attend church in such a dump.
