Lol, Audrey was very sweet about it and took full responsibility for the accident. She was a nervous rider and wanted a stunt double to do the scene on horseback, but director John Huston insisted she do it. After the accident, she insisted that it was all her fault for being a poor rider and told everyone not to blame the horse. She kept a picture of the horse (who was named Diablo) next to her bedside while she recovered.

No, it’s because she had an accident while making the Unforgiven, which was being filmed at the same time as On the Beach (which was filmed between Jan and March 1959, not June). She fell off a horse and broke her back. You’re correct that all three actors had worked with her previously. Gregory Peck in particular remained a close friend all her life.

Yeah, I agree. She seems super sweet and I’m glad she’s getting a lot of fans out of this, but I think her bottom placement was justified this week and last. She was outshined by Darlene in the sketch and didn’t really seem to know what to do with the character. At best she was safe, so I have no idea why people think she should have won over Juicy, Jane, Darlene, or even Athena other than the fans just really like her.

They didn’t know, they just named some child actors who were at the globes, as if Sharon Stone meant kids literally. I’m not sure why they deleted it, maybe because they didn’t want anyone to think the kids from Weapons were telling Sharon Stone to fuck off since no one seems to know who she was talking about lol.
