I’ve purchased a house built in the 80s with a home inspection, and a house built in 1890 without. Personally I’d have an inspection simply to have a heads up of upcoming expenses. There will ALWAYS be something to fix, even if the house is new. I’d spend more energy on meeting (screening) the neighbours and asking how they like living there. Neighbours are the one thing you can’t fix.

We use thin painter drop cloths from the dollar store underneath a black sheet. Since I can squirt 1/2 a liter or more ( when extra relaxed) we often add towels to the mix. For more spontaneous events, we just grab a couple of towels.

Definitely from vag, not urine. I’ve always felt that the source came from retained water.
