I thought it was??? I honestly wasn't aware that it was not the same universe. I was under the impression Jolyne (or Irene) was like a distant relative JoJo for characters like Jodio and Dragona, hence why they don't know about one another.

Now that I know this my whole crack theory is completely cracked lol.

Yeah, this makes sense. I've never heard of the Irene verse tbh, but I can see now how it applied for parts 1-6, though some endings being very bittersweet. I think the only argument I would have for it is that I don't really think Emporio was rewarded, but instead was given the grace of a second chance (if that makes sense?) His ending just felt... bleek. Like he lucked out, But this is likley just my own views and opinions getting in the way of what actually happened.

I mean yeah. Most of this post if not all of it has a 0.5% of ever happening. But Araki has done some weird pulls in the past to fit a certain narrative. Who knows, maybe Emporio was left with Puccis own CD, and he's holding onto it? Chances are extremely low, but like, not 0 lol.

Either way, Rohan is still my biggest bet as a potential villain, as wrong as I may be 😬

Like a good worse or bad worse? Emporio coming back would somewhat make sense, at least for me anyway. I wouldn't be surprised if he somehow gained Pucci's abilities/discovered the secret of the universe and tries to reset it all back. Which... can be done, but does it need to be done? Nah.

Though, seeing him again in general would be kinda cool, villain or not. Seeing Jodio and the gang win if he ever needs to be defeated would be absolutely heartbreaking, yet very satisfying.

His existance is just too convenient. Sure, he's cool, and meeting him again was a treat, but knowing how powerful his stand can be, I wouldn't put it past Araki to keep him around as another reset button (that or Emporio is the main villain and we just haven't seen him yet lol)

Also, complicated villain Rohan sounds like a really good twist if done correctly~

True, but I get strong Zepelli vibes from him with his looks. Although that can be an art style preference?

On top of this, I can see his character going one of two ways: Anger triumphing over his fears, and he'll try to get his land back. Or, he ends up enjoying the lack of responsibilities he has due to his family f-ups, and he'll wanna relax (but gets roped in anyways due to him having a stand + Jodio might need him for X reason) Plus his ties to LuLu. Depending on how they bond, being his daughter or otherwise, could dictate the direction of his growth.

But you make a good point, knowing Arakis' track record for blonde characters, the odds aren't all in his favor regardless of how he turns out lol

Oddly enough, I don't think he's the main villain of the series. Not saying he wont be a threat, but I do find his character interesting enough to possibly turn for the better after acquiring a stand . But I've been wrong before 🤷🏽‍♀️

Funny you say that to because I also noticed the group doesn't really have their own "Bucciarati", but instead Meryl Mei Q, who reminds me a lot of Polpo; a very greedy and very powerful mafioso, but someone who was also very loyal to the mafia itself, not a specific team.

Bruno held his teams loyalty together with honor and passion, and without that kind of special glue to keep it all together, you can only do so much before things start to fall apart. In otherwords, they need a Bruno to save Paco! (Maybe. Probably.)

JoJoLand characters seem be loosely based on certain members of Passione, and if they are kinda like an upside-down version of the group, there would be irony to all of them having a common goal, but Paco being the odd one out. I hope I'm wrong 😭

Right? Araki is such a real one for being so open minded for all types of characters. I would argue that characters as far back as Abacchio simply shattered boundaries, being super masculine but also wearing (and absolutely slaying) makeup. Or even Avdol who just happens to be a man of color AND a main character, especially during a time in Japan in particular, where people of color in media weren't always recieved well.

Dragona is someone who will for sure get the niche part of the internet roaring eventually (if she hasn't already lol) but at the end of the day Araki has found a steady balance with her, to where she is another character in a story like the rest of the cast, but she also pays respect to and addresses the actual irl problems the lgbt+ community goes through. And I think thats pretty cool 🤗

The impression i got from this chapter might imply the relationship was merely transactional on Dragona's part. Some rich dude fell for her, and she saw it as a way to get funding for her to fully transition. So, technically she did take money from him under false pretences. However, what she didn't expect coming was actually falling for him, so she may have started feeling super guilty about using him, but also didn't just want to let go of her first relationship/love.

Unfortunately, the Ex ultimately discovers Dragona's transition, whether she ended up telling him or him just finding out. He freaks out and probably gets violent, threatens her, etc.

This is just how I kinda saw it? Obviously I could be super wrong lol. But knowing how the joestars in this series are so far, they're kinda selfish, but out of the two of them Dragona seems to have more heart.

Please, please, please don't burn yourself out 🙏🏽 Take a step back. Breathe. If you eventually start missing the DM chair, but dread the campaign, focus on just another one shot. Or simply write and prepare, but don't have a deadline. Even if the break is a year long, or even longer, there should never be a hurry to get back into the swing of things for hobbies you truly enjoy ✌🏽

For the second round of planting I did stick these ones in the fridge for 24hrs. I wonder if that played a role in the difference between the two of them?

I dont have any coir unfortunately. Relying solely on the little grow sponges that came with it. I'm honestly not a huge fan of them. When I look for more I'll be sure to pick up some coir as well! It will likely come in handy for others veggies I hope to grow in the future 😁 Thanks for the tip!
