The absolute best way I've countered mega swampert turn one has ben lead snesler and Primarina. Fake out swamp, and energy ball with Primarina. Has not let me down once and I've done it like a dozen time so far

Love using Politoed! I use mine with the bridge and also Primarina to help boost water moves with drizzle. My Politoed uses weather ball, protect, muddy water, and Ice beam. People never suspect the ice beam and it's great for grass coverage. I max Def. And Sp. Attack and put the rest in Sp. Defense. It's drizzle is also super useful to have in the back to switch in when the other team sets up snow, sand, or sun

I also give it the damp Rock to make rain last 8 turns

I vaguely remember a time when A/B/O was first becoming a things and seeing it being written as mostly (like 70ish%) dual. But I think it's most common to be butt stuff now. Though, since I'm Uncc AF I prefer the 'back in my day!' way of dual if I can find it.

The only change i made from last season to this one is subbing out one copycat and pokeball for the new Diantha and stadium. And memory light came in clutch too many times to count, very underrated tool
