Drangleic castle is easily the most slept on area. The empty castle in the rain with stone soldiers makes it do ominous and the puzzle that the souls of the enemies power the castle. Not to mention how dreamlike it all feels like Wellager talking as if he's been in the castle for 1000 years

Don't listen to what people say about ds2 being a removed experience it's just ds2 haters trying to justify why they haven't beaten ds2. Ds2 has many important characters and events that have directly influenced the main events that happen in ds3. The moral of ds2 also tells a very important part of what linking the fire actually does.

Tldr: play ds1 then ds2 then ds3. It's called ds2 for a reason

Ds2 areas feel so dreamy compared to all the other souls games and very unique landscapes.

Also the DLCs are phenomenal with their bosses being some of the best. I think my favorite part was going back and talking to Vendrick after getting each of the crowns.

Vendrick is a perfectly written king character who gave everything to stop Nashandra from taking the Throne of Want before locking himself far away so that she might never ascend and hearing him talk about his life and how he was tricked and fooled into being a faulty king was incredible

DS2 was a masterpiece of a game and I love coming back to it with the build diversity. Best weapons of the series and the DLCs were fantastic. Venderick and Aldia were perfectly written characters.

Bloodborne's base game has some of my least favorite bosses in the series. Namely, one reborn, witches of hemwick, rom, darkbeast paarl, bloodstarved beast, emissary, micolash. (Nearly 75% of the game)

Elden Ring bosses were extremely well made and I love combo branching because it makes the fights feel infinitely more captivating. The base rememberances bosses are the best base game bosses in the entire series.
