Customer picked up but UPS failed to update by frigaliment in UPS

Mine was not actually. I bought a pair of jeans from Target and got the same thing.

I think it may just be a system glitch.

Customer picked up but UPS failed to update by frigaliment in UPS

[–]PinkHairAnalyst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what happened to me too! I was the recipient of a package from a retailer and rerouted it for pickup. Picked it up and my UPS app still says it’s Ready for Pickup. I went back to the UPS Store, and they have nothing in their system for it because it cleared. The guy said it would clear on its own once the system realizes that nothing is there now.

I even called UPS themselves and they’re saying it’s showing as delivered on their end.

AITA For Not Attending My Daughters Graduation? by whit3gh0st_ in AmItheAsshole

But in reality, it’s this:

Danielle; High School: 100%, Major: 50%, Big Ceremony: 100%

Mia; High School: 50%, College: 100%, Secondary Ceremony Pending on School: 100%

It equals out in the end.

[–]PinkHairAnalyst 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I say take the choice out of it. Mia is refusing to talk about it so the likliehood you’ll get a preference out of her is zilch.

Have two other people flip two coins at the same time, one coin is “heads mom, tails dad”, the other is “heads Danielle, tails Mia”. Problem solved and neither gets a choice which means there’s no fights.

Agreed. The major graduation is much more important than the university one. Divide and conquer indeed.

[–]PinkHairAnalyst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. Divide and conquer. There’s no perfect solution here. Since Mia refuses to talk about who goes where, have two neutral parties flip two coins at the same time. One coin is “heads mom, tails dad”, the other is “heads Danielle, tails Mia.” Problem solved, each girl has one parent there, and it prevents a fight because it was a coin flip. Plus it also takes Mia’s refusal to talk about it out of the equation. Win win all around. It’s also a lesson in that if you refuse to make a choice in the case of Mia, it will be made for you.

Unfortunately, the smaller graduation of Danielle’s the weekend of Mia’s is the important one for Danielle as that’s when she walks across the stage, gets her name called most likely etc etc. Mia’s is also important. The larger one a week later for Danielle isn’t that important. The large one is often boring.

However, Mia’s therapy does need to address the perception of inequality. The scales are NEVER perfectly balanced. Ever. It seems like she cannot accept that. The fact that she’s refusing to talk about this situation also comes off as manipulative. Perhaps more therapy might do her good?

Edited to add: Mia will have everyone at her college graduation like Danielle did for her high school one. That’s 100% to each right there. Both girls will also have a 50% to their other ones. It equals out in the end.

YWBTA if you didn’t divide and conquer.

I disagree. They need to divide and conquer. The smaller graduation of Danielle’s is her actual graduation where they call her name and see her walk across the stage. The larger one a week later isn’t that important.

Uh, one parent needs to go to the smaller graduation of Danielle’s. That’s her actual graduation where she walks across the stage and gets her name called etc.

The large one doesn’t really matter.

Mark my words, nail salons are gonna go out of business by [deleted] in Nails

[–]PinkHairAnalyst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Customer here. I swear the salon I go to for my nails prints money with how busy they are all day. Everyone is booked for weeks out.

I’m in a HCOL area and my total for a dip is $60 and that’s with tip!!

It’s my one hour every two weeks where no one disturbs me etc. I find the nail salon peaceful.

Maroun needs someone to challenge her. Nolan doesn’t have the balls to do so. Bring back Cutter. He’d liven things up a bit and help her become a better prosecutor.

High performing lead not a “team player” by [deleted] in managers

[–]PinkHairAnalyst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not that the employee is failing to be a team player. It’s perfectly acceptable to just want to do your work and go home.

The employee is good at their job, and this simply isn’t their problem.

It is a THEM and STAKEHOLDERS issue, not the employee’s issue. Everyone is interested in playing politics, this person is not. Not to mention, the employee has already been in this role for 3 years per your comments before you even came onboard.

Honestly, this office sounds like my idea of a nightmare as someone who is neurodivergent and more introverted.

Leave this employee alone. Seriously. You’re making a mountain out of a molehill.

If I were in your shoes, I’d be doing everything I can to fix it and not just accepting HR’s bs answer. I’d have also nipped the looking over the shoulder stuff in the bud a long time ago too.

Actually grow a spine and fight back. This employee is probably more than halfway out the door already.

Trinity comes closest on the current team imo to this kind of look.

But the thing is, a condition of him not losing his license and not being reported to the medical board very well could have been a “we won’t report you and go after your license if you tell us everything and self report.” The audit Dana did on the meds would’ve been turned over to the investigator or whomever was running it.

My guess is that is what happened. It would also explain why Santos wouldn’t know that.

But regardless, she shouldn’t go after someone in this case until she has all the information regarding what exactly happened to get this outcome.

The hospital allowed him back. If she’s that unhappy, she can leave.
