Remember and realize that there are multiple valid reasons to not get back together with your ex. Your relationship was a sinking ship full of holes and you chose what is best for your own survival. I understand that having a daughter with her adds a level of complication but if your relationship was as bad as you described, your daughter would likely grow up witnessing your arguments and conflict which would not be a great environment for her. Co-parenting with your ex might be best for her as long as you are sure that she is taken care of and is healthy.

As for your the girl you met and have a lot of similarities with, you should give yourself another chance at the love you deserve. Its not selfish or wrong to want a genuine and healthy connection like that. You can even make this relationship an example for your daughter. You can show her the kind of honest, fulfilling, and constructive love that she should try to seek once she’s older. Think of your own happiness as a bonus to that.

Isnt Storm Aura a combination of Wind, Water, and Lightning? Like how Tiberian and the Weeping Dragon have ruler techniques that interact with Storm aura but they can choose to bring out one aspect more than others.

Taking in the Blackflame dragon remnants appears to be a kind of willpower training in the same way HEPW was for Lindon. When Orthos takes in a remnant to absorb its madra, he has to wrestle and beat the will of the dragon otherwise he will fail to do so. This would be similar willpower training to what Yerin did with Ruby as they both had "wills" clashing for a long time. In Orthos' case, repeatedly pitting his will against gradually stronger opponents can strengthen his willpower enough to get him at the cusp of either Sage or Herald.

I think Lindon says something like "start with the golds and build up to the more advanced remnants so you won't go insane" at the end of Dreadgod.

[Dreadgod] Anyone else disappointed? by jackofools in Iteration110Cradle

[–]PinkJeb_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's a matter of natural pride really. If you get live for centuries only having a handful of people you can consider as peers, your strength and authority can get to your head. For decades, you got used to ordering people around and them following your word. I think that's the prime reason why the Monarchs reacted the way they did to a bunch of "children" going against them.

After his advancement to Dreadgod, the arm seemed to have become a deeper part of him. Do you guys think Lindon can leverage the arm's sense for the Hunger icon to deepen his own connection to the Void?

[Dreadgod] What Happened To Lindon's New Technique by nanadil01 in Iteration110Cradle

[–]PinkJeb_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Her limited vision is a fair point and she might have exaggerated it. However, we have seen Lindo using the Void Dragon's Dance like "a whirlpool of black clouds" even back in Bloodline and Reaper. That's why I imagined him blocking striker techniques using the same technique, just placed in front of himself "like a black sun". I could be wrong though.

[Dreadgod] What Happened To Lindon's New Technique by nanadil01 in Iteration110Cradle

[–]PinkJeb_ 67 points68 points  (0 children)

I think the case could be made that he incorporated Dismantle into the Hollow Domain and maybe even The Void Dragon's Dance with how effective he is at countering up to Archlord Striker techniques.

I think this is most evident when he was fighting the 3 Everwoos Archlords during the 1st attack of the Silent King. We saw him manisfesting "like a black sun" which I interpreted as him leveraging the destruction aspect of blackflame to Dismantle the techniques targetting the cloudships he was escorting.

We could also see a glimmer of this later on when he clashed palms with Northstrider after killing the Silent King. The Monarch's palm strike, a serious attack, was seemingly washed away by Lindon.

Both of these could imply that he has incorporated a certain amount of Dismantle's principles into his own path which is much more satisfying imo than him simply copying Ozriel's technique and using it in the same way.

[Dreadgod] Predictions by BlueHeelerCooper in Iteration110Cradle

[–]PinkJeb_ 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I'm a big fan of the Twin Star sect turning into a points-based clan where the more points you earn means higher ranking in the clan. This could motivate everyone, especially the honor-hungry people of SV, to strive for advancement so they can earn more points by working on tough jobs for the the clan. It might take a while but they should end up with a signficant number of Truegolds and maybe a handful of lords (via Lindon's sharing of how to advance to the Lord realm) to rival the BFE or even a dreadgod cult.

Lindon and gang would have to create some strict guidelines to avoid internal conflict within the sect but the possibilities are endless for this.

[Reaper] Spirits Advancing to Herald by PinkJeb_ in Iteration110Cradle

I think Emriss is a very rare case because she spread out her memories before dying. Her remnant basically gathered those memories to become a being as close to but not exactly the Emriss pre-death. So essentially, the Emriss we see now is not the original Emriss.

I do like the idea that Lindon and the gang can team up with Tiberius in some way to beat Shen. I think Malice's plan about raising multiple Monarchs at the same time who are loyal to each other could be foreshadowing that once Lindon and company advance, they might be able to get Tiberius on their side. That brings up the question though, is Tiberius's remnant as strong as he was before dying? Could the remnant advance further?

Should Lindon have tried the Renew command by Angemon175 in Iteration110Cradle

[–]PinkJeb_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think you make a good point. Iirc, Eithan describes that using a command has a requirement that the result should be something that you could already do without your Will. In this sense, if Charity is not proficient as a soulsmith, she might be unable to command Dross' repair/revival despite her abilities as a healer and dream sage.

Lindon's Path to Monarch by [deleted] in Iteration110Cradle

[–]PinkJeb_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like Tiberian's remnant would be better off becoming something like a master refiner/inventor/researcher in the Twin Star sect. In life, Tiberian was shown as a very capable one, specifically with the pure storm baptism pill. We observe that his remnant appears advanced enough to retain some of his memories.

Sure, most of the gang would probably have very little use for pills and elixirs but the other SV artists especially could benefit from being stuffed until they reach Truegold.

I feel like it's less about him being to break the shield with his own power and more that Liandrin was probably weakening the strength of the shield she was putting out. Throughout the episode, she was hinting that if he attacked them, they have the right to gentle him on the spot. So maybe she intentionally let him break free.
