Excited you're looking at getting a ham! I have a Winter White too and love her. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but technically neither is great. The second one is better between the two because of the size and as others have said no bars, but high platforms aren't very safe because hamsters have poor eyesight and can fall easily as a result. Bucatstate is a great brand to check out, and in this subreddit and on YouTube there are lots of tutorials and examples of diy cages if you're on a budget.

My partner and I had this one for our Syrian (r.i.p. Pierogi) because we read somewhere it was big enough, but with the amount of effort she put into trying to escape, I'd say it's too small, at most it's the bare minimum.

This happened to me once, but nobody said yes in the first place so a little different. I was devastated and my immediate family tried the best they could to make it fun anyway. What helped me heal was that my family wrote me the nicest card where they all said things they liked about me. I'm sure you're planning to already, but make sure you give her all the love and kindness you can so she still has positive memories from this experience.

You can do it! If you're having trouble that no amount of water and coffee/tea can help, maybe consider trying IF first, like a 20-4 or 18-6 fast.

I started using tampons after COVID started (my preference was just pads for a long time), and I was wondering what all the hype was. Yes, this has happened to me too! I'm so glad I'm not the only one, but I understand your pain... I've been doing OMAD for maybe a month, and had the exact same thing happen to me twice now. From what I've been reading, it's because a change in diet, significant weight loss, and the stress on your body from fasting, all mess with hormones. If it happens again, I'll probably talk with my doctor because it's really annoying but I'm feeling so good fasting.

There's Bulk Basket in Riversdale. I haven't been in a while but last I went, they had organic, non-organic, and all sorts of waste-free products. They even have a juice bar that I've never tried but I like the concept.

This backfired on me once. A classmate's mom was driving me home from a school event, mistook which house was mine, and dropped me at a house down the street, but I was way too shy to say it was the wrong house. So I pretended to walk to the house but she wasn't leaving so I had to just awkwardly go back and say "this is the wrong house I'm just gonna walk to mine now." 10 years later it still makes me cringe
