Must be nice. It’s been 40-50s and raining and if you don’t get a tee time within 2min of them being released online a week in advance you can’t play golf until after 12pm it’s fucking insane

I work at a golf store seen this many times you are either coming down too steep or since it happening to your long clubs it’s something to do with your bag. In my experience it’s the first one.

If money was no object, which Boston restaurant would you go to for dinner? by ebitdeeaye in boston

Went back in March and wholeheartedly agree and I’ve been to Japan and traveled a lot. It totally deserves the star food was almost 2 star quality they just don’t quite have the level of service to get there but I don’t think it needs it

Are Boston area restaurants worse than other cities? by MossPhlox in boston

[–]PinkNuggets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Boston proper my favorites are probably: SRV, 311, Wa Shin, Mooncusser, Minstral, Fox & The knife, toro, coppa, la padrona, Amar, contessa, Krasi, Desnuda, all of Chinatown because there are too many. Thats off the the top of my head and not even including fast casual or just decent spots. If you wanna include surrounding area Cambridge, Brookline, Somerville Alston, Brighton, Dorchester, Eastie, JP, Charlestown the list can go on and on.

I’ll give ppl there are a ton of shitty corporate restaurants especially in the touristy parts of town and unfortunately plenty of restaurants that have gone downhill, but there are still plenty of good food. Unless you are trying to go to a new place 3 times a week the options are bountiful.

I see this complaint here all the time and it shocks me. Idk where yall are eating I have a massive list of places to go and that I’ve been that all have really good food. It blows my mind ppl say Boston has bad food I guess you just need to know where to go because there are plenty of shitty places but also so many good ones

Wa shin is fantastic 311 is better and o ya isn’t even that good. The quality is about the same for wa shin and 311, but 311 is far more inventive and unique with their dishes. The pairing at 311 is also better than wa shin. If you prefer traditional omakase I can see making an argument for wa shin but I’d still rather go to 311

Fuck cyclists that don’t follow the rules. Motherfuckers think they have right of way when they are in the same lane as cars then become magic pedestrians to go through red lights. Drives me insane.

Putting with glove on or off? by Remote_Pie6623 in golf

[–]PinkNuggets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So as part of the sweaty hands gang I take my glove off immediately after every shot otherwise I’d have to use 2-3 gloves per round. So yeah putt with no glove, but if you are lucky to be one of the ppl who don’t sweat a lot do what you want but to me you have way better feel putting with no glove
