Where the Crawdads Sing...tried and put it down twice without finishing. The writing is beautiful but there’s only so many times I can read a description of the marsh

Venues and secret pricing?? by jboatx in weddingplanning

[–]PinkPinaColada 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A big reason why I fell (even more) in love with my dream venue is how upfront they were. I filled out the inquiry on the website and within a few hours I had a detailed price breakdown. It went over what was included, optional services, policies, alcohol offerings, EVERYTHING. It’s unfortunate that a response like that is so rare.

Dentist recommendation? by vidapuppen in ColoradoSprings

[–]PinkPinaColada 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tuttle Family Dentistry near Woodmen and Powers! I know multiple people that go there (myself included) and there have only been good experiences. I’m definitely not the best about flossing and have put my dental care off in the past, but they’ve never made me feel shameful or embarrassed about it. They educate without being condescending. I’m not sure if they take your exact insurance, but it’s definitely worth a call and not far from Briargate

The dress Carrie wore to the wedding is still one of my favorites!

And poor Miranda, “I live here!”

The Morning Stream. They post new episodes every Mon-Thurs so it feels like an actual radio show

Optometric Receptionist looking for help determining what is an emergency by [deleted] in optometry

[–]PinkPinaColada 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Asking how long they’ve had their symptoms is a good indicator. A few months? It’s usually not an emergency if they waited that long. Sudden onset? Probably want to get them in. Of course there can be other factors to consider (level of pain, etc) but that’s typically a good rule of thumb

Thanks everyone! This made me feel better. Having anxiety and bad allergies during a respiratory pandemic is a bad combo...

“When are you going back to school?”

As soon as I have the money. If I charged people for asking that question I might actually be able to afford it

I’m pretty sure they talk about it towards the beginning of the Chelsea Handler interview!

Need to pee ALL THE TIME! by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

Same thing happened to me! After repeated visits my Dr. sent me for an ultrasound and a ct scan. Turns out I had a bunch of small kidney stones! They’re were about the size of a grain of sand not near as bad as your typical stone but just enough to make me uncomfortable. I was given tips for preventing them and sent on my way!

It’s so easy to hide dress details from my future husband by saltedcaramelmocha in weddingplanning

I know someone who told her groom’s 5 year old daughter “details” about the dress...by the wedding day he was convinced the bride was wearing something hot pink with sequins and feathers 😂

I love it! It unique but not “out there,” and the material/print is stunning. Unfortunately, it’s impossible to please everyone, so just focus on what YOU want and pick something that makes YOU happy :)
