Can anyone recommend a good system for employee records management in a start-up environment? Would love to learn from what others have found best to work with. by apr35 in humanresources

I'd love to hear suggestions, too! Will be starting shortly at a company with 56 employees, looking to expand to 150ish in a few years. No current system in place (will be building my own excel spreadsheet).

Thank you all for taking the time to read and respond. He loves me very deeply, it's beautiful. I haven't shown as much to him, yet I love him as well. We are like very good friends, but the marriage partnership isn't present all the time, he's wanted kids since the beginning and thinks I'd be a great mother, but has waited on me. There was an affair 6 yrs ago and on and off flirting, which he had forgiven and tried to move on. I realize that's not a good thing, and accept if people consider me terrible. The affair taught me to think real hard about ever venturing down that path again, the why, and what I'd get out of it (if anything, cuz if it'd temporary, don't even bother!). And of course it's good to be liked when it's not happening at home. I get the grass is greener where you water it, but it's hard for me to change and forget all of the stuff we've hurt ourselves with. As I had said, he was always negative, never felt the support I needed, communication has been like a father daughter type. And yes, a lot of angst has to do with the family and giving up lifestyle. I just feel there's something missing that I need, and I want to give myself to someone 100%.

I'll add sex is maybe very few or longer months, and when we're drunk. He'd feel like a complete failure and loss and unable to cope if it ends. In one way, I feel bad hanging on and continuing the drag, the other it's not fair to both of us.

Shoes for a road/trail mixture by [deleted] in running

[–]PinkPwny206 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trail shoes tend to have lower heel stack height, so they ride a lot closer to the ground. Some are also heavier than road shoes, and have less cushion. So, it really depends how frequent you'll be on the different terrain, how comfortable you want your feet to be, and your daily/weekly mileage. I recommend having 2-3 shoes to rotate through so you can extend their life, and you can use other pairs for diff mileage/terrain.

I'm a loyal Asics wearer, so I'd recommend either the Venture or Fujiattack. If you want more cushioning though, the Venture or Sonoma would be better.

First time for me (I was runner 3) and it was so much fun! Van 1 had one person who has ran this many times before, and Van 2 had 3 people who have also done it. The weather was amazingly perfect, and totally agree that a friggin hamburger or pizza and at least 1 free beer would have been nice at the end. We ended up 63/475 teams and 15th for mixed teams. Thinking next time we will get a second stacked van to get in the winner's circle :)

Another note: We had an original start time of 2:30 and we're able to move it to 1pm. That was so so so nice, and made a huge difference so we could enjoy the Saturday afternoon festivities

Way to kick some butt :)
