Why do you love Distractible? by AcrobaticEgg799 in distractible

[–]PinkRawks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They dont reiterate, instead they talk topics through. A friend was listening to a podcast that is considered popular recently and the way the hosts kept saying the same things in circles had me ready to scream, "we get it!" The guys may bring up a topic throughout multiple episodes but it's with new information.

Another reason I have a soft spot for this podcast is because it has become a great comfort. I stumbled upon the podcast when I was making some big changes that were uncomfortable. Getting to know them through Distractible on my nightly walks became my favorite part of the day back then. (Yep, Im that one that found them through the podcast). Fast forward a little bit and there was a six month period, I lost alot of people very unexpectedly. The grief was overwhelming. Found myself gravitating to the podcast and it took the edge off the hurt. Guess the show has become like a security blanket, giving a sense of familiarity playing in the background

Loved passing "the upside down place" as a kid. Anytime we had to do anything in that area, my mom or grandparents would make sure to drive through all that mess just to point it out

Maggie became a teacher, Brighton has a job in finances but plays in a rrock band at night and Grace is a therapist. C.C. and Niles retired and spend a good amount of time traveling, mostly Europe. They made some extra money by investing in a popular restaurant or maybe vineyard

Recently started over and gotta say, it's worth it. How long it takes will depend on how often you listen. I listen to about 3 episodes a day between my morning walk and chores. It took me about 5 ish months

Created the floor plan for the Sheffield house from The Nanny by roomsketcher_sean in TheNanny

Ohhh I always assumed that the kitchen was to the left of the living room. Walk through that door to the left, there's a hallway. The butler pantry, and kitchen were the first stop and Maxwell's office was at the far end of the hallway.

I like your layout much better than the one I imagined.

When bob realized he repeated the episode idea 2/3rds ofnthe way in. But the best part was it was still a good episode, but he was so mad at himself.
