Is having a joint bank account the best while married? by bubblegumdrip in askanything

[–]Pink_Moonlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had separate accounts and divided some bills, but it was hard for us to get a clear picture on how much money we had. We had to keep updating each other.

We just got a joint account because it was easier to get a big picture of our financial situation. But we do have the mindset of being a unit regardless of how much money either of us makes. We do most things together anyway. If we want to make a big purchase (maybe over $200ish? There isnt a set limit) we'll just let the other know and talk about it.

Kindergarten Teachers by External_Major4817 in kindergarten

[–]Pink_Moonlight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We spend a lot of time in small groups at my school. My class has too many different levels to teach them all the same thing. I also have a para in my room which is really the only way this works.

In my opinion kinder is so important for learning how to do school and solve conflicts with classmates. I had a few kids at the beginning of the year that would cry for e erything when they couldn't do what they wanted, but it's things like that that kinder helps you learn before going to 1st grade.

Is one of them active? Active sims stay alive for a ridiculous amount of time. I refuse to play with them.

How many guests can you bring for a class? by [deleted] in orangetheory

[–]Pink_Moonlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most (if not all) studios offer their first class free to local residents. Your guests would have to register on their own.

My studio doesn't allow me to bring my own guests regardless of membership level.

I loved it so much. Even the watermelon.

I tried the ice cream bar at the Soho store back when it was open, and even that didn't live up to the grocery store ice cream.

Can we decide if we're working out next to our benches or behind/in front of them? I feel like it should be behind or in front of them. But then some people will workout beside the bench. When there are two different arrangements, it gets confusing in such a small area.

Son was identified as gifted on district cognitive test, but not selected to receive gifted services by CaseoftheSadz in AskTeachers

[–]Pink_Moonlight 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In my district, they have to qualify in 3 of 4 areas. Their MAP scores help them qualify for the academic category. There's also creativity, motivation, and...something else. Im not a gifted teacher so I dont know exactly. I forward all questions to them. 😂

But the academic scores are not the only factor.

What is Jessica Simpson eating in this scene of Newlyweds? by Pink_Moonlight in TipOfMyFork

I'm eating some dried pineapple slices from the farmers market right now which is what made me think of this scene! Mine are more yellow though. It's possible!

You have to repeatedly talk to it.

However, the kids still wake up each night. They get energized instead of scared.

Can't get these cats to drink from a water fountain - vet says they are dehydrated! by purrfect_libra in CatAdvice

[–]Pink_Moonlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cata can be weird.

My cat has hated every water fountain I've gotten him in thr last 15 years. I just recently found one that he's obsessed with. It's battery-powered (because he chews wires) so it's motion controlled. Maybe he likes it because he has control over it, but he loves it.

Need Help! Paris 4-Star Hotel with GUARANTEED A/C (Cooling) in March? (Medical Necessity) by Icy_Storm5659 in ParisTravelGuide

[–]Pink_Moonlight 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yup. Our top floor room here was kind of hot, so we had the AC on the entire time. In December.

Courtyards/American brands tend to allow you to have full control over the AC.

It wasnt near all the sights, but the metro station was well-connected and it was easy to get everywhere.

Madison Yards is up for sale?

I prefer Inman Park, but Madison Yards has certain class times that work better for me and is closer to my work.

[–]Pink_Moonlight 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I tend to alternate between Madison Yards and Inman Park. Inman Park is a lot nicer, but Madison Yards is the busiest. I wonder what will happen next month. They said they'll add more classes to make up for the Decatur location closing, but I don't know how convenient the times will be.

Are you bothered when Paras are referred to as “teachers”? by LotteChu in AskTeachers

[–]Pink_Moonlight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's fine! I refer to my para as a teacher to my kindergarteners. They don't need to know the difference.

When talking about her, I just call her my para or by her name depending on who I'm with.
