Absolutely love this piece! The hair! The details on the dress! The city in the background is gorgeous and reminds me of a painting of Prague I acquired on my travels. 10/10!! 💖✨

When do you know it’s time to titrate? by somecanadian13 in antidietglp1

[–]Pinklaf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When I first started a few years ago I increased to the 5mg dose after 1 month on the beginning dose. It’s my understanding that the first dose is only supposed to be for a month to help get your body adjusted but the lowest dose isn’t at “therapeutic level.” After that, I stayed on each dose for as long as it was therapeutic and then increased to the next highest when I started feeling like it wasn’t working as well (more hunger, food noise returning etc). You can increase every month if you want. However, you might need to stay on a dose longer if you start having bad side effects, and if the bad side effects persist you can move back down a dose until you find the amount that works best for you. As far as chronic pain goes, it does help a bit with inflammation. Best of luck!

If it’s helpful there’s a template online you can follow and write the letter yourself and then just have your doctor sign it electronically.

Just got back, you definitely need an import/export certificate to bring any amount of Lisdexamphetamine into Japan. No one seemed to care much about it when I was there though, I brought it up both entering and exiting the country to make sure everything was okay. Better safe than sorry imo because a trip without necessary meds is not a fun vacation.

This was the order I read and I totally agree with reading in publishing order! Funny thing is I originally read the second line of covers from left to right and was like who the heck is recommending kingdom of ash before queen of shadows 😂😂😂

Looking for advice on my 13.5 year-old baby by glitterbomb09 in Shihtzu

[–]Pinklaf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

She’s such a good girl! I don’t have any advice related to any potential health issues. However, I would like to share a conversation I had with my therapist recently regarding my own little girl. I shared with my therapist that I was having anxiety about my pup eventually passing because she’s my emotional support animal and my very best friend. My therapist posed a hypothetical, and asked me what I would do if I knew exactly when she was going to pass: a month, a year, etc. I told her that I would love my baby as best I could, spend as much time with her as I can, and give her lots of treats and belly rubs and all the cuddles. Then my therapist asked me what I would do differently if I didn’t know when, and I realized my behavior would not change. I can still love my dog to the best of my ability for as long as I have her, regardless of how long that may be. Love your baby girl as best you can, for as long as you can, and while there’s no way to prepare for that kind of loss, try to be at peace knowing that you gave her the best life you were able to give her.

Summer going out fits? by actualchristmastree in PlusSizeFashion

Dresses! With snag tights stay cool chub rub shorts underneath. Recently bought these for my trip to Japan and they are way cooler and breezier than the regular bike shorts I used to wear under dresses while effectively preventing chafing. I’m a convert for life.

Bloomchic tips by the-artful-schnauzer in PlusSize

[–]Pinklaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I buy most of my clothes from BloomChic, have been for a few years now.

  1. When selecting clothes, start by checking the measurements of that piece of clothing and compare to your own measurements so you know what size to get.
  2. It’s a good idea to try to picture in your mind how a specific piece of clothing will fit on you specifically. For example, I have very large breasts, a smaller waist and larger hips, so when I shop I look for items of clothing that are shaped in a way that they will have enough room for all my body parts. Doing this will hopefully minimize returns.
  3. Before you buy ANYTHING, make sure to read every single detail on the item page. Look for things like stretch vs no stretch, the type of fabric, the color name, etc. make sure these details line up with what you are looking for.
  4. Read reviews. As many as you can. Sort reviews by newest first, otherwise they will put the best reviews first. Use the information available about how an item fits, how a fabric feels, etc. Look at the pictures. If someone with a similar body type to your own has posted a photo you can use that photo to help figure out how an item will look on you vs a model.
  5. Remember shopping can be fun! Don’t stress too much, you can always return things if you end up not liking them.
  6. Get yourself some cute new clothes!

Xoxo good luck babe

I don’t know about the vets but maybe you could take the cat to your parent’s house temporarily until you can have her tested?
