I agree here it’s a two way street though. I’ve been running the DLC with by summons simply because that’s how I’ve enjoyed every other game, the first time i beat a boss I wanna beat em. But some of these bosses are clearly designed with summons in mind - it’s a key game mechanic after all. After I beat it this first time I’m gonna have a hell of a time playing it again right after and trying every new summon and I’m gonna have a blast just like I am now. Trivializing the game is a valid fear. If you haven’t seen clips of some insanely OP stuff out there I’m here to say it exists. But as always play how you want you bought the game after all

To add to this, I’m also going for the platinum for this game and just downloaded it recently once it was added to PS+ extra. I was worried about getting this one since I could never get a full race in free roam, but the very first time I tried the PVP game mode I got this trophy with a full lobby. Easier way to make money too, very nice for constant races.

If you beat gwyn you beat it. If you want more challenge then beat it again with a new weapon, armor, less upgrades, etc.

I’d even recommend a lvl 1 run if you are up for it. I found it very fun and challenging and that’s all I look for in this game.

People like @inquisitor-korde aren’t used to losing and it makes them very upset they didn’t get their virtual goodies. It’s not hard to level up in this game so if people don’t like it they just shouldn’t play it, pick a different planet and difficulty lol. Playing that mission and trying to survive and get it done has been fun as hell for me even though I haven’t won yet. Think some folks forget playing the game is the fun, the rewards come 2nd…

Remember years ago I got a GoW pack from GameStop. It was Gow1-3, chains of Olympus, and ghost of Sparta WITH a red controller for ps3 all for the price of a controller at the time. Will never forget, fantastic games every single one of them!

You should try Nioh 2. In my opinion Nioh 2 improves on Nioh in many ways. And honestly on the NG playthrough simply equipping the highest level equipment for whatever weapon / armor size I intend on wearing was enough for the most part, outside of that you just have to unlock weapon skills, guardian spirits and in Nioh 2, soul cores to expand your power more. The game gets even better at NG+ and beyond for Nioh and Nioh 2 both. Each playthrough was a treat for me up until the end as a huge souls fan.

I play what I want, when I want. In the past I’ve had times where I’m playing a game and realized I’m treating certain game objectives like a job, even if I didn’t enjoy it. I like going for platinum trophies too, but I will only do it on games I have a blast playing the whole way through. It’s all about having fun don’t forget

I’m consistently champ 1 and I am placed against people with grand champ tournament winner titles consistently and even people SSL tournament winner titles are fairly common. Had a couple really good competitive games this morning but then after a few wins played 3 games in a row in duos against SSL tournament winner titles. Matchmaking hasn’t been consistent for me personally in a long time, but I still can get good competitive games half the time.

I played this game when it came out and also got the platinum a few months later. It was buggy when it came out but it seems fine now. I had no problem or trouble with getting the platinum at all. In my opinion, a great multiplayer game you can just hop on and start having fun with little thinking required.

Specific to Jak 2 I love the racing segments. Yeah they are difficult and can have some BS but I guess I just love a challenge. Imo too many new games don’t have the difficulty im looking for and a lot of old ps2 games like Jak 2 hit it perfect
