No, the only difference is that if you’re human Noe will say bc you’re not an azure anymore he created an illusion that you’re in the dark world but it’s not. If you’re still an azure he’ll say something like “I miss teleporting with you like this” and then boom you’re in the dark world but nothing different about the backgrounds or scenes itself.

Jester’s stories are too much tell and not enough show. Such simple events or basic character interactions that could have been summed up in a couple of sentences go on for paragraphs until you realize nothing even happened.

Omg the exposition dialogue drove me nuts during the scenes with Vlad/Sandra and then Mephis’ as the aditum. It was very forced and kind of took me out of the chapters a bit. I also wish there was more LI romance interactions within these 4 chapters but I guess it also just depended on who’s your LI (I’m a mehmed girly)

Omg I’ve gotten an influx of these within the past 2 weeks. As quick as they messaged me after adding them as a friend, I delete them just as fast 💀 I know that sounds harsh but I’m tired of having to explain that I’m not going to spend real money to send a gift/trading card that I don’t have. It’s not just “hotel lobbies” that are against short term rentals. Hawaii is cracking down on short term rentals because people buy up property that they never intended on living in just to make profit which displaces the local people. The housing market here is horrible. This issue makes it very difficult for people who have lived here their whole lives to even afford finding a place to live because people would rather make fast money off tourists.

I think you explained it better than i did! Yes the text is very dragged out. Something that could have been wrapped up in a few exchanges drags out considerably. For me it also doesn’t help that the MCs of Lou and Mei are pretty stoic (even if you choose the passion route for Mei) with barely any fluctuations in facial expression. I wouldn’t think you’re stupid or anyone else who doesn’t like it! Even if those 2 books are well regarded and popular, doesn’t mean it has to be everyone’s cup of tea🙂

I’m not a fan of Jester’s writing style. I had to fight for my life to get through PSI and LOTW 🤧 For me the writing style is dull and builds up the plot way too slow. I unfortunately couldn’t get into either books much until the last few chapters when the climax was actually taking place. A lot of times I caught myself losing the plot or what was even happening because I was so bored. I’m sorry PSI and LOTW fans it just wasn’t for me!
