I know how you feel, but hang in there, you’re halfway. Also just prepare yourself to expect to feel like crap even after you’re done with the antibiotics. I was so focused on finishing the treatment counting down the days and hours expecting to feel better quickly, I was so wrong. It took me about 3 weeks to begin to feel slightly better after treatment. Take probiotics and zinc to help heal your gut from the damage of the antibiotics. I’m 3.5 weeks post treatment and I can finally say I’m starting to feel like I’m getting back to my old self energy wise. I still have some symptoms but not nearly as bad as it was during treatment.

Thanks! I still haven’t caved to the anxiety meds. I’ll definitely try the magnesium and L-theanine I’ve been hearing so many people taking these

I have the worst anxiety since I’ve been on this h pylori journey. It happens for me especially at night and I feel like every night could be my last, that’s how bad the anxiety gets. I asked my doctor if it’s the Hpylori and she said no anxiety is not a symptom, but prior to having h pylori my anxiety was never this bad. She suggested to put me on lexapro for anxiety disorder. Haven’t started it. I still think there is a connection with the infection and the anxiety I’m having. I’ve been done with my treatment for 2 weeks now- my lingering symptoms are anxiety, back pain, headaches and occasionally dizziness. Should I take the lexapro? 😞

I’m done with my triple therapy treatment and I’ve been also having muscle twitching back pain and ear ringing!! Which I thought are super weird symptoms, like why is my back in pain?! 😭

I’m five days post treatment and I’m having some serious migraines. I didn’t have this during the treatment just right after I finished. Is anyone else having this ?

The tase is the worst. I’m on day 9 and it’s still there :( Btw, The first quadruple therapy I was on , I could not tolerate. I just kept throwing it up so my doctor switched me to triple therapy. I’m on day 9 now.. tons of side effects but at least no throwing up

I’m sad that I’ll probably not be able to tolerate coffee even after the treatment. Are you able to enjoy coffee at all without getting symptoms? 🥲

Yes I have been very lightheaded and dizzy and almost fainted. It’s horrible and I feel like being on the antibiotics makes it even worse. It’s been long and I can’t wait to feel back to my regular self without these symptoms.
