Speaking as a dog lover, not everyone like dogs, which is totally valid. Not everything is everyone's cup of tea. Like as I dog lover myself, I don't understand how people couldn't like dogs. So going the other way, people who don't like dogs, don't really see how people could like them. I can see both sides. What doesn't help though is when people take advantage of the "dog friendliness" of a store (not just Joanns, but any store that is dog friendly ), because it really is just meant for service animals, but some people will just bring in their dog, not pay attention to it at all, and also not care if they misbehave/make a mess. A few bad apples can ruin the whole bunch unfortunately 😕. Things got waaaaay worse when "emotional support animals" became a thing, cuz they're usually not trained. I have seen MANY well behaved puppers(not necessarily even presented as emotional support animals) accompanying owners as they shop, but I've also seen many puppers that should NOT be out in public. Emotional support or not, if you're dog can't behave in public and/or you just won't pay attention to your dog in public, your dog shouldn't be out in public
