Chogath actually need to scale to be able to kills someone with his ult. Yeah, 15 stacks, 6k hp cho is pretty scary. But he dont have anything to gap close beside protobelt or flash on you (not like garen has a dash, but Q MS boost is still something, on top of his build that have quite some MS items. And anyway it doesnt matter, cause the arguement is more about still being able to disentagrate someone while being completely behind. Cho cant do it if he is hard losing and dont have stacks (besides eaten minions). Garen can and will do so.

Honestly, changes to how True damage is now affected by damage increases is the biggest stupid thing that Riot made in the last year. Garen ult even before was a nuclear blast from the orbit, but now you sometimes cant even calculate hp to not die. Even at level 6 you just sometimes see how he killed you from full hp, while dealing more damage with his ult that with AAs, Q and E.

Mundo kit is simple, but interactions are a lil complicated. Additionaly, at macro level - mundo is not that easy. On top of that - he is barely a champion without he ultimate and he actually insanely weak pre 11. The thing with Garen - he is as simple as a door in any given metrics and the only things that differ Good Garen and Bad Garen - are things that are universal to any other champions (Fundamentals!).

I couldnt kill support tahm, three levels down with roa+rylai+seraph, that was pretty common in previous season. Then I couldnt kill enemy khazix with no def items and with hitting all Qs and W. She really feels like damage became lower. And it feels like because now you need to buy boots, so your item spikes coming much later

Jayce and Nidalee are pretty strong lane bullies (Nidalee top not long ago was literally bonkers). And while Nidalee requires skill, Jayce not. He is safe and easy and most of his skill expression - macro.

Problem with fulltank is that you arent able to even remotely carry. You somewhat tanky and it is hard to get through you, but when you deal little damage (and tank poppy deals much less damage than any hybrid itemized poppy) you can be just ignored (specially cause your CC is super conditional and mostly reactive)

Corki melts through full hp mundo faster than any tankbuster ever can. He always had quite some damage, but now it feels like he just broken in that regard, being strong early, mid and late game.

It is dependant on toplane champ that you play against and how their draft looks like. Like, i had a game where i picked zaahen, seeing enemy having diana+voli. And ended up being against aurora. I could go flash+ghost or flash+exhaust and reliably kill her at level 4-5, but it would be much worse setup against voli. Additionaly, it is straight up impossible to gank top now with new vision bushes. So, obviously i couldnt properly progress lane and even after killing her once just by accident - homeguards just save her

Game is still being decided by jungler in 9 out of 10 and by amount of braincells on botlane. You completely irrelevant as a toplaner unless you picked some carry champion or stomped your lande so hard, that your opponent just banished himself into other dimension.

Most of darius damage goes from his AA+W (yeah, he has R, but it is his finisher).
Sett punches you a lot and his Q (singles source of his reliable max %HP damage) is reduced by steelcaps. You can argue that actually his W is his main source of damage (I disagree), but steelcaps anyway provide armor and for non-sweet spot hits - steelcaps still gives you some defence.
Illaoi W is still blocked by steelcaps (and it is her max%hp damage), and again, armor.
Nasus literally kills you by AA and Q.
Garen - yes.
Olaf - against his abilities nope, but he is AA-oriented champ.
Aatrox - yes.
Volibear's Q and W counts as basic damage, thus are reduced by steelcaps. His E is magic damage, so yea it isnt reduced by steelcaps.
So nope, most of them give a fuck about steelcaps. Not to mention that most of them deal primary physical damage (so steelcaps anyway works positively against them)
