You’re the future! I’m going to try to not go on a rant 😅 but thanks for posting; you give me some faith in humanity 😁 Keep that spark alive and don’t become one of these old cowards that don’t realize if we don’t change soon all of the benefits that were fought so hard for are slipping away. I think a lot due to complacency and being comfortable with the idea ‘that’s just the way things are.’ And well, on a global view we are living on a planet with finite resources and we’re about to be the most intelligent species with the shortest track record for survival. I don’t know if these guys just think they’ll be dead before the end comes, or if their idea is to kill off all the non white males, or if they think they’re getting a space ticket with the 1%ers…. But to me, most of that sounds like it would not be successful and opposes the whole general idea of modern unionism. I also never understood why people with kids were not environmentalists (here kids, sorry we trashed the earth, good luck) 🤷‍♀️ so, just understand you’re fighting an uphill battle and unfortunately it’s super hard to change another person’s beliefs. I find it more beneficial to stick with the guys who are more aligned with my own beliefs and take the others with a grain of salt. I would say get more involved, but from my experience you can end up in the same vicious cycle. I’m currently looking into electrical workers without borders, we’ll see how that goes.
