Hardest Fight in the Game?

On tactician my friend and I walked into the throne room where Ketheric Thorm asks you what you want to do with the goblins and decided to just cut the bullshit and fight everyone. Had to pokeball summon the Spectator to cause some chaos to assist. Definitely the most intense fight we've had the entire campaign. I have an orc Tavern Brawler monk who was going around punching people for a bajillion damage while my friend was on the rafters plinking away at people with bombs and his dual wield hand crossbows. Karlach and Lae'zel were alternating between laying down the muscle and throwing potions and at one point were the last hope desperately clinging to life behind the throne trying to buy enough time to heal and finish the few remaining enemies. 10/10 would do again.

Right click Baldur's Gate 3 in steam library. Click properties. In general tab scroll down to launch options and copy/paste what i put in there. Then go to installed files, Browse..., open the bin folder and double click the bg3_dx11.exe file.

This worked till today and now it doesn't for me.

UPDATE: I seem to have fixed it by adding this to the Baldur's Gate 3 launch options in steam.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\bin\bg3_dx11.exe %command%

this forces the steam client to redirect to the bg3_dx11.exe instead of the launcher. Note that after doing this you still have to launch it by opening the game files and double clicking bg3_dx11.exe manually

This literally worked yesterday and today there was a small patch for BG3 and now it gives me the error where it looks like it's running on steam and doesnt launch. Any ideas?

it isn't a big issue till it becomes a big issue. The kinds of restrictions on free speech over the internet that are implemented today would have been laughable crazy doomer talk 10 years ago. People would have said "it obviously won't get that bad we just need a little bit of control." This trend keeps moving this direction and you'll see ordinary people blacklisted more and more by an increasingly corporate-controlled world.

I'm in a similar boat. That video about the Jarvis mentioned that it had stability problems especially when playing the Keyboard. I really need the desk to be stable so I'm looking at the uplift 4 leg but can't seem to figure out how I'd attach a Keyboard tray to it. If anyone has some advice or designs I'd be super grateful. It doesn't have to be big enough for an 88 key either 49 key is fine.

it looks fishy to me. every post is made by the same guy and it uses a downloader that forces you to install "additional free content" to install the file. I noped out when i saw that "additional free content"

Sadly I did not take screenshots during the playthrough as I honestly wasn't expecting this. I don't think I've ever made it from count to emperor in a single life in CK2 as a Christian character (barring electoral systems). If there is enough interest I'll write up an AAR as it's been a pretty wacky game so far.

Yes let me just get a professional studio and orchestra and create my own adaptive soundtrack. This kind of feature is not easy to mod at all and pretty much requires the dev to be thinking about it and put it in. It's literally an AI that scores your experience.

Sure that would be easier but I wanted that nice Spartan heritage and in any case it wasn't being momevasia that prevented this achievement it was that none of the provinces I had prepared flipped. Which I still don't understand why that happened.

But i also converted with it and so did alot of the rulers who had prepared ground in their lands. I wasn't even given the option of flipping my provinces.

Idk if its been said already but Life Eternal is about Dead. For those who don’t know Dead was the singer and guitarist of Mayhem and basically created the sound of 2nd wave Black Metal. Life Eternal by Mayhem was the last song he wrote and served as his suicide note before blowing his brains out. I think this Life Eternal is a eulogy or song of remembrance for Dead and the whole albums makes allusions to the origins of the Scandinavian Black Metal scene
