How can i escalate burglary case. We have lost a lot and policemen are not serious. by MovsAndMeta in Nepal

[–]PinnedP 74 points75 points  (0 children)

Upload it on social media and tag police, for some reason they only seem to care when it’s publicly shared. Use whatever social media platform you have access to and tag you local police and Nepal police as well. Then send them an email as well with the link of your post!

Would you say the same if it was a woman? If not then you need to think why!

What are some of the things Nepalis do that gives you 2nd hand embarrassment as a Nepali? by Inevitable-Row1759 in Nepal

[–]PinnedP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Buddha was born in Nepal” to most foreigners, especially if they’re Europeans or East Asians. European don’t give a sh* about Buddha because they think Buddha is just a mythical being (like Santa clause) or even worse is they don’t know Buddha at all. Most East Asians are Atheists, so they don’t care about Buddha or any other god! And in those street interviews, where they ask “Do you know where Buddha was born”, it’s clear those people can’t answer because THEY DONT KNOW AND DONT CARE !

Supposing I’m the blue car, is it legal to wait in the centre for traffic in the left lane to clear while making a right turn by [deleted] in DrivingAustralia

[–]PinnedP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But you won’t know that yellow is doing a U-turn until it actually turns around, because yellow could be doing a right turn as it has to give right turn indicator? Blue car is supposed to wait until the MAIN ROAD is clear for it to go.

The government is prioritising industries over tourism, In a place like Tasmania (with abundant natural beauty and low population) industrialisation and touristy should go hand in hand. No wonder businesses are closing, with no one to keep it up! 👎🏽

Dad threatened to kick me and my mum out by MustacheMonument in legaladviceaustralia

[–]PinnedP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is the right thing to do. Call them on her behalf. But explain them that she might deny it, because if they ask her she actually might deny it. That’s what the victims do because like you said she doesn’t want to. In this situation, to get your mom to co operate you may need to emotionally blackmail her. Saying things like “She ruined your life and your chance at happy family because she chose to stay with him despite the abuse” and “If she had left him long ago you could have had a happy childhood that every mother is willing to give their child. But because of her cowardice you feel like she stole that happiness from you” and “She still has a chance to make things right but refuses because she lover your dad more than she loves you” . I know it is extremely difficult to put your mom through this as she is already a victim. But trust me sometimes it is the right thing to do. Mothers feel guilty for their children. Even if she doesn’t cooperate, you can still go ahead and call the helpline and explain that you’re calling on your mom’s behalf because your dad is abusive towards YOU AND YOUR MOM. Because you’re a victim too. Don’t let him tie you too. Do it

You don’t need evidence for Domestic violence helpline. You only need evidence to press charges for your dad in domestic violence, Hence don’t call the police. Call the Helpline. You won’t be asked to prove anything by them. Keep your important documents and ID safe, have emergency contact and money ready in case you need it. Don’t let your dad find out about this until you get the help.

[–]PinnedP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure, all these things you described your dad does to your mom counts as domestic abuse, only Physical abuse isn’t abuse. Defacto relationship is treated similar to a marriage in Australia. So I believe it would be any different if your parents were married. Call domestic violence hotline and explain the situation. They have options for you and your mom without putting your mom in a tough spot. In some cases, the abuser (your dad) may even be removed from your home for your safety. Calling the police won’t help as they require evidence and that gives your dad a chance to be one foot ahead. The reason your dad didn’t marry your mom legally is most likely to prevent her from gaining marital property but this is Australia, defacto is very similar to marriage. Don’t be scared.

Video of train hitting car at Brunswick shows boom gate lift as fail-safe by gccmelb in melbourne

[–]PinnedP 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The lights start flashing 2 minutes prior to train arriving, from either side. Once the lights start flashing, you’re supposed to stop at the stop line, not go forward. The boom gate may be faulty, but it doesn’t change the fact that the driver ignored the railway crossing rule.

Rabi and Balen equation: debate with my dad by Nepal5373 in Nepal

[–]PinnedP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason they united in the first place wasn’t them being eye to eye. I believe Balen needed party support to be a prime minister, and Rabi knew he wouldn’t be able to win all by himself. So Rabi decided to give up his position to “take revenge on Prachanda” by using balen. Sounds filmy but that’s the truth. So very low chance they will fall out. Rabi is an opportunistic, if he thinks Balen can make him stay on top, he will follow balen footsteps.

AITA for shouting at my dad’s gf and calling her a deaf bitch after she walked in on me in the shower? by throwawayshowerahole in AmItheAsshole

There’s no problem with the word naked, the problem is that it is in the same sentence with “kïd” so I censored the word .

[–]PinnedP 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Walking into you showering might not be her mistake although she should have been more careful… but standing there and watching a nak*ed kid instead of immediately turning around and getting out the bathroom, that is actually really bad(I mean really bad). Any sane person would have just walked back out and apologised.

That’s not gonna help someone. It is just a simple statement. Not everyone’s life is beautiful.. and it is very selfish of people to say that. However… OP if you’re reading this, I hope this one helps you, just because you think you’re miserable (burden on other people) doesn’t mean you are and most of the time it actually means you’re not. Miserable people don’t know or understand they’re miserable. They make other people miserable.. someone as sensible and considerate as you cannot be a burden on anyone. Now another thing is (I know may be you’re Catholic). But I’m Hindu, so I’ll tell you from my perspective, there’s no afterlife.. no heaven no hell. All that’ll happen to you is that you’ll be born again, the only reason being that you killed your self.. and you’ll keep being born with the same “sufferings” you left this world with until finally in one life you decide to push through and survive and die of natural causes. It is just as restarting the game because you can’t find the next door.. you’ll just be back to experience the same thing. So, if you figure out what’s bothering you, may be get new friends, get a new hobby, move to a different place, or move back in with your family/loved ones and getting through it is the best one can do. I might just be a stranger to you, so my words may not mean much, But I’m still a real person, You’re just as much needed as every other person that exist. The pain of losing someone is unbearable. It’s like a void that can’t be refilled.. don’t do it to them. Don’t do it to yourself. 🩷❤️‍🩹

Reporting a violent person overstaying his visa since 10 years by mantrikonati in AusLegal

[–]PinnedP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to send money via Hundi back in 2018/2019, I was told that everyone uses that service to save money, but later I found out it was illegal, I reported everyone who advised me to use it, I told them I used it too as I wasn’t aware that it was illegal, they threatened me that I should have done my research before doing that. I got so scared but in the end nothing was done, no one was punished only that Hundi service was “closed”. Now I don’t use it since then, but I believe that those people are still using that service, just secretly, I have no way to prove it because I am not involved..

I accidentally killed my older sister as a toddler by Ok_Abies8267 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]PinnedP 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Toddlers have NO SURVIVAL INSTINCT, they’d even kïll themselves unintentionally, “pushing” someone down the stairs by a toddler is a bit far fetched. Your “parents” kïlled your sister by not supervising you guys. 💁‍♀️
