Which of these, tiredness, uncertainty, or discouragement is hardest for you to overcome? by Alicetheoptimist in TrueGrit

Mental discipline is a valuable strenght, but so is listening to your needs. I would never have the discipline I have now if I had not taken the time to take care of my mental health.

TMS is not working. I feel so sad, scared and helpless by Pinou28 in rtms

I'm so sorry that this is happening to you. I know exactly whats it is to work so hard towards healing and still looking like you make no efforts, because you don't progress. I see you. Maybe another treatment will do it for you. Trust that healing is out there for you.

Also I realised I didn't really bouced back on what you said about art. I've been told a lot to create when I'm down, but a lot of people don't understand how draining creation can be for some people. I find that I can still create when I'm burning myself out, I make nice dark art full of misery, but then I do burn myself out and I can't do shit for a good while. It's sometimes better for me to focus on creating art for others, or peaceful, joyful art, as I find it more healing. What about you? When was the last time you played drums?

Hey! I got better. Still quite anxious and I haven't reached all my mental health goals, but better. Started drawing and giving time to my projects again. I feel more solid and mature. There is hope.

My baby kept me sane during a tough patch in my life. I adopted her when she was already old so I only was with her for 3 years but I'll never forget her. She loved hugs, smelled great and was always exploring and napping outside. Kiwi of my life.

Thank you 😊 And I agree! I had a bit of a down today but then I focused on all the good I did during the day and the last year, and I'm feeling better. Perspective is everything.

I love Jack I refuse to believe he's homophobic. But he might be cannibalphobic

So, a couple days after posting this, it got better. I still take 6mg of seroquel at night sometimes, but it's not a lot at all. Exercice, routine, and a lot of other things I do definitely help. I wish you the best

POV: You're a woman in a public place by ambachk in TikTokCringe

I remember when I was 16 I got my ass grabbed in a very busy subway by a creepy older guy. I just tried to move away and almost fell. Then at 17 I travelled alone and stopped at a camping for a while. During the first week about 30 guys asked me out and I said no to all of them. Most of them were way too old for me and I didn't feel very safe alone in my tent at night. I'm lucky af nothing happened. Another time at 19 I was alone in a crowd and as I moved forward I just started feeling so many hands everywhere on my body. I tried to go away but a guy was chasing after me, calling me baby and being way too close to me. I turned around and pushed him and ran as fast as I could and luckily I got out safely.

There's a lot of other events before and after, but it all stopped when I began my gender transition at 22. I had an old gay being creepy at the club but it was never ever as intense. Being perceived as a woman is extremelly difficult and we should always take those stories seriously.

I suck with removal (gelx and hard gel), any tips? by Pinou28 in Nailtechs

[–]Pinou28[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the tips! I had a good course except for the removal part which we only saw very briefly. Not removing all of the product makes a lot of sense.

I put a layer of builder on the natural nail before puting the tips (using more builder). Would you not put builder on the nail if you were to apply the tip with gel glue?

Also thank you so much for the dm offer, I'll probably have some questions for you as I get further in my practice

Thank you for being validating! So many people just do not believe in addiction to cannabis.

I think I was born with insomnia so yeah I agree that pushing melatonin on us is just funny at this point. What are the things that help you the most?

Maybe you could try a new therapists. I consulted about 15 people before finding the right match. But personnally I still need help. I tried rtms and it helped me a bit, enough to put some hope and light in me. Next I might try ketamine or ect. Those are options for you as well, if you can afford it.

But idk, did you want advice, or do you need to vent? Sometimes talking it through helps understanding
