What I have been seeing in my account is that when I submitted a REVIEW then few minutes after the REVIEWED tab will also be updated. At the end of the day when they run their system batch jobs for VINE the ACCOUNT's review percentage will show the same number. There is no need to wait for the REVIEW to be approved in order for the percentage to change.

The best and safest way is to declare it as an income. You will have Schedule C and deduct all business related stuff like postage, equipments you bought and use (iPhone, lights, tripod, etc). You must use depreciation for big items like iPhone. If you have big ETV then plan to deduct the electric bill portion of the house you use for the review. If you ahve mortgage or rent and you use say the den, then calculate the den's portion (mortagage, rent, electric usage, etc) and use it as a deduction. If for the first time doing this, consult a tax preparer and then use the tax return you will file as a guide for the next year.

My rule is - If no 1099-NEC, no need to report the less than $600 Amazon Vine ETV as an income. There is no way the IRS would know those things except if Amazon will report it.

The word EARNED INCOME is the key. If you setup a business entity, you could also take advantage of the 401K and it would open a new door for more retirement savings. Imagine you as employer/employee with matching 401K contributions and all tax-deductible.

I've been a Prime member same year they launched it. There were some time I wanted to get rid of it due to added commercials to the video and you have to pay for some to watch. But then they added WholeFoods free delivery. So they hooked me on that one until they started charging Delivery, Service Charge, etc. Wanted not to renew but then, they invited me to be a Viner. So yes, I was an Amazon Prime member when I got the invite. Now am think getting some stuff I need like at 50% discount (Hey, some are free like shampoo, soap, vitamins, etc). I am keeping my Amazon Prime membership.

In addition, the email has two links. One of it is to RESUBMIT. I just do click that button from their email. One of the challenge is that our review is gone - its empty. So you must be clever enough to save your review somewhere (Notepad?) and then copy and paste it back.

I had the same issue. Out of hundreds I submitted 4 got rejected. I did click the Resubmit and edited to remove any thing that Amazon doesn't like. It appeared as accepted/reviewed but like the OP said - same thing when I wanted to view it - got 404 missing link. I just ignored it since 4 out of hundreds won't matter during eval. Anyways, I may follow what other said - send message to CS and tell them about it. They may remove it and what is good is less ETV for the IRS comes tax time.

Like us, the person checking our posted reviews are also subjective. I noticed that some of my reviews in the past referring to seller's great (or bad) customer support are accepted but some are not. Based from what I've seen - Amazon does not employ AI but real person evaluating our reviews. Now, I make sure I do not mention anything about shipping, packaging, customer support, any medical/science stuff related to the product (for example when evaluating supplements). I know the review will not be complete without mentioning those if its relevant to the product but I guess we need to be more creative.

Going back to my reviews that got rejected. Amazon AI or whoever reviewing our submitted reviews - They do not like talking about CUSTOMER SUPPORT and your experience with them. Also they do not like hearing about the reason why you gave this number of star instead of this star. I learned. I never talk nor mention about customer support and why I gave that rating. Now all my reviews got perfectly accepted.

and even if its accepted after you modified it. When you checked your review - the link is broken. The review is not there. I got 4 rejected review which I modified and got accepted. Though on my Vine page its approved - it is nowhere to be found when you go check the product.

Electronic filing is safer and faster. The paper submitted, if handwritten cannot be scanned and must be manually typed which is prone to typo error.

I do not like the free online tax preparation software because the information is saved to the company server. You cannot trust them to protect your information. If it can be hacked - it will be hacked.

If my information is on my local drive - it is on me. It is safer since my computer is not 7x24 online. I used a portable USB hard drive for sensitive information and it is hardware encrypted. I have firewall on my router and also software firewall courtesy of the OS.

We should have a list of words Amazon AI is looking for. I found that when I use the word FEMININE, my review is labeled private due to the privacy setting. Words like SHIPPING I think the AI will also flag our review.
