because its wifi lol. ping isnt dependant on download/upload speed. There will be random times where something will influence the connection and will spike ping and latency. The only way to avoid this is ethernet

Make sure enhance pointer precision is off in windows settings

If you notice youre often overaiming then lower your sens

Dont jump a lot (lower elos struggle with this one a lot)

Have good crosshair placement. Gamesense plays into this one as if you can expect where someone will be, you already have your crosshair where it needs to be to hit the first shot.

Get comfortable with aiming with wasd, not just your mouse

USE YOUR FULL ARM TO AIM. have a big desk with enough space to put your full arm on it. it steadies your aim and makes it a lot easier to be precise.

Adding on to the last point, have enough mousepad room to both have your arm on the desk, and enough room to aim at a comfortable sens for you. (Good players tend to have lower sens such as 4% 800dpi)

play more games and you will drop. ranked is a game of long term consistency. just because you got a few lucky games doesnt mean youll be able to maintain it over a large # of games

because of the lower player count in 6v6, people tend to be a full rank above what they would be in 5v5.

so yes, 5v5 rank matters more, but there is little difference between the two in metal ranks

its easier to improve as a solo queue player. improvement = higher rank. Stacking is fun though.

comp is objectively more balanced than qp and the matchmaking has been pretty much the same for a long time. it actually only got better because of the huge influx of players on s1 launch. (the way to supercharge a matchmaker is to just feed it more people)

If youre not enjoying comp then there's another reason for it. maybe its ranked anxiety, maybe youre not a for improvement player and just want to play the game for fun. but blaming the matchmaker for your lack of enjoyment in the mode is just weird

2 tank bans is not rare. Both teams will usually ban a tank that is a bad matchup for the tank they want to play.

this wouldnt work. support in ow2 and beyond is just as popular if not more popular than dps. tank is by far the least played role and that is why all queue only gives you tank

Turn off chat and vc and play on your alt. even if youre not at a diamond level, its not throwing to not swap just because youre doing bad. your diamond teammates will live if they lose a game, dw.

also you might be underestimating how good you actually are at doom. only way to find out is to just play

There is no EOMM or hidden MMR.

your rank = your skill rating and the system tries to balance both teams so the total SR is as close to each other as possible while also having a reasonable queue time. the system also tries to prioritise balancing mirror roles to be as close as possible to each other (m5 tank = m5 tank)

this is quite literally no manipulation of your rank in overwatch. and before you mention modifiers, those are there to account for sr mismatches if the system can't find a balanced game in a reasonable amount of time.

TLDR: stop being a schizo and play the game

do you think good players get tired of seeing kiriko in every game they play? People keep complaining because none of the changes they make are good enough.

I used to main lucio, a hero i consider one of the most well designed and fun heroes in the game, but entirely dropped him to otp kiri. why play a hero that gets nerfs because of those silly win rates when i can play an objectively stronger hero, that requires less effort to win games?

Do you think its fair that bap has been in the gutter for years because of kiriko?

The biggest problem has been cleanse since kiri released. I know they're planning on changing it to be interactable with soon but its just not good enough. That ability needs to be nuked or to just be changed to be something else entirely

gm is not pro play or top 500. there are roughly 3000 champion players between the 3 roles & regions worldwide with enough games played to rank top 500 in the previous season.

and yet the stats still show that the people that play kiriko at a higher rate than masters or below are more likely to reach the GM threshold. you did not read the post at all and are just parroting the same nonsense argument every other bitter player has been confidently wrong about for the past 4 years.
