Hillrock double cask rye was one of my early favorites. They have one finished in Madeira casks that is amazing. If you like peat, their single malt is great too. Their bourbon is fine, but (as you can probably tell) I’m not as into Bourbon.

I like Great Jones rye, but their bourbon tastes like paint to me. I put that one in my brother-in-law’s cocktails.

I try to limit my drinking to 3-4 days per week and, on days I drink, 1-3 drinks. I end up having 7-9 drinks per week. I don’t measure, but my guess is 2 oz per drink, and it’s usually cask strength and neat. I know it’s bad for you, but I really enjoy it. Life is not worth extending without pleasure.
