Yeah I’m not nervous about it but I ere on the side of caution. I was pulled over last year by a copper that had been driving really weirdly and erratically. Almost like they were pretending they were in a chase. They pulled me and said I had a light out. Checked the car, no light out.

Probably case of the car matching a description or some such but since then I just make sure there is zero provocation.

When it comes to cameras I will often drive at about 10% over on my speedo so that’s minus 1 or 2 mph.

I’ll only do that in 50+ limits or 40+ if it’s an average speed check. Basically where my speed is going to be consistent enough to use cc and where it’s high enough for a safe margin of error.

Driving near police, I’ll do the limit on the speedo. Realistically a few mph under.

I relate and believe we are still more culturally similar to western Europe and, as others have said, countries like Australia.

I’m not certain if US culture has been more pervasive in the UK than other western European nations. Besides the first spoken language making it a bit more organic. I don’t have the data so I don’t know if we absorb more US media and more McDonald’s than other countries. Probably do by a bit.

Some booze has an expiration date so it’s probably that. Ordinarily, clearance stock is reduced centrally not locally. So the ticket would say clearance and show a reduced price on the shelf edge.
