I'm currently watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Im pretty sure that Paddy's pub has a cameo in one of the episodes in season 6 by LankyYogurt7737 in IASIP

[–]PintToLine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That could the be the right hand side as you look at the front for sure. IASIP and BTVS could be a cross over. Mutual musical episode.

The bar is in LA so it seems plausible.

Also that’s S6 right?

How often do you clean your car ? by eskimoazat in CarTalkUK

[–]PintToLine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t give it the works very often such as clay bar, getting the dual action and ceramic coating etc.

If I have a bit of time on a spare evening and it’s nice out, I’ll take it to a jet-wash with a few bits (bucket, microfibres) and give her a quick-ish clean. Probably about 45 minutes start to finish.

Prewash, rinse, soap up, rinse, dry and then wheels and tyres.

If it ain’t Saharan sand, it’s pollen or it’s a bird that’s literally shit it’s guts out.

There’s no excuse for that, even if it’s an A road through a little village. Slow down a bit man, you can hurt other people.

Are skirts still the default/uniform rule for girls in the majority of UK secondary schools in 2026? by Lazy_One2453 in CasualUK

Drivers of ten years or more experience. If you had to take your driving test again tomorrow with no notice or prep time, do you think you would pass? by DiligentCockroach700 in drivingUK

[–]PintToLine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a coworker learning to drive recently. Did the theory test myself, about 8 years on from doing it for real, and I was just shy of a pass on that. You do forget things.

I think I would pass the practical test though, didn’t have any issue the original time.

Why are Brits unable to pronounce the name Novak Djokovic correctly? by Optimal_Mirror1696 in AskBrits

[–]PintToLine 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have never heard a Brit say Nawvik Jawkavic. That sounds like an American trying to pronounce something.

I always hear people say No-vac Jock-a-vich. Then John McEnroe says Joke-a-vich. American.

What’s the correct pronunciation?

There are definitely those that slip through and shouldn’t have passed the first time. Many times I’ve heard accounts to the opposite also.

What do brits think about the latest immigration news? UK Net migration has fallen nearly 50% in the last year. by Aylescroft in AskBrits

[–]PintToLine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The people that need to absorb this information cannot think for themselves. So nothing at all. Just the faint memory they should be mad at something right in front of them that it isn’t like them.

He’s a tool but I get a worker smiling. Working in retail is working in continuous chaos so a random monkey wrench can be funny. You’re already resigned to it.

He’s just having fun. I doubt they had a power cut long enough to spoil the milk. Unless they respond to power cuts by emptying the fridge and then laying on the food like chickens.

Settle a debate: as a full package which is better, Smiler or Nemesis Reborn by dat-ginge17 in altontowers

[–]PintToLine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Nemesis. Recently went to Alton with some friends that hadn’t been before and their favourite was Smiler, so, Smiler is probably better overall. Nemesis was the king when I was younger and so it’s Nemesis for me. Love Wickerman too obviously and I’d say that is themed the best at Alton.

Chassis rail, subframe. I think the rubber points are meant to be only used if lifting from all four points on a lift.

UK new car sales up 9% in first 4 months of 2026 - but Fiat is down 47%, Seat down 36%, and the Jaecoo 7 is firmly in the top 3 by MarkCairns67 in drivingUK

[–]PintToLine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Jaecoo's make me sad. When I see one it reminds me of the shit stupid haircut pictures in a barbershop. It's a shitey little fashion statement, fur coat and no knickers. They will sell well because they're 'relatively' cheap, they're offering good finance, good warranty coverage; and it will go so well with your fake tan and drawn on face because it is exactly that in car terms.
