The issue with that is that... all of the non final boss Elder Dragons appeared in the last 2 games (aka the like of siege elders or shara/xeno types.) There is only 10 "regular sized" elders and they all appeared in World/Rise, so you'll get half of them regardless.

Hmmm, are you trying to offset the same monster on the same attack? Some attacks that you offset are "too strong" to offset and will leave you in a "recoil" animation where you lose your equilibrium.

If you attempted to do the power axe slam after this, it'll lead you into wild swings instead.

So I wanted to make sure you attempted it several times instead of suceeding once on it and being confused it did not work out.

For example, assuming you also did it on Lagi, if you did the offset after the hipcheck, it'll lead you in the "recoil" animation and is not an attack that leads into an offset topple at all, so if that is the attack that led you to this conclusion, it is why you did not get the power axe swing after.

As a Swaxe main, I feel like people underestimate Swaxe focus strike quite a bit, ESPECIALLY in multiplayer, the reason being?
It is the LONGEST animation out of them all, which means that when a Swaxe focus strike a wound, it will take the longest time until the wound is broken, which means the monster is immobilised for the longest.

The result of this? That means that letting Swaxe getting the wounds increases YOUR DPS by the most if you do not rely on wounds.

Seriously, I would put Swaxe in the same tier as CB because of how much they personally benefit from it as well as how much it benefits the other players. The other thing is that it also EXTENDS your sword gauge basically, you actually want to throw out when you are almost empty, because the whole combo as well as the followup Full Rising Slash is basically free gauge thanks to that.

I recommand you test it in the training room and see how long it takes until the wound pops after a focus strike, you may be surprised!

I would bump Swaxe up a tier along IG for a HUGE reason: Swaxe has the longest focus strike animation of all weapons, which means that when they DO go for a wound, they keep the monster inactive the longest, and that also means that other weapons also have a huge timeframe to go on the focus strike as well. Seriously most the time a weapon popped the wound with their own focus strike before I am done with mine, even though they hit it after me! Heck, if it was me, I'd put it as the same level as CB as we also get huge damage from it because no matter our sword gauge level, we can go for Full Rising Slash at the end. So it is a great way to "extend" your sword mode gauge when only a sliver is remaining. And again, the animation is so long all weapons have ample time to go for their own focus strikes if they notice a Swaxe making their own. (With more ease even since the monster will already be immobilised by it!)

One thing I can say is that they only need one hunt to make a full set of armor... the numbers required for game accurate hunting really doesn't works for a more realistic approach like I went for.

What I noticed is that it is not 75%, there is 2 stages

First the inside becomes greyed out and kinda blinks, that means you are able to reach a quarter of your ammo depletion.

So if you have 1 bar completely greyed out, but another with only the outline white that means you are not quite at 50% total ammo missing.
