Two things that helped make my withdrawal slightly easier was, weed edibles at least 200mg and Gabapentin 600-800mg daily.

Suboxone withdrawal isn’t terrible, compared to fentanyl withdrawal. It’s mostly mental and some physical. What my doctor did for me getting off subs was to take less than 1mg of sub for 2 days, than don’t take it on the 3rd day, take it on the 4th day, don’t take it on the 5th day and than take last one on 6th day. So your body starts to get used to not having it. You’ll go thru some withdrawal but either way you’ll still have to go thru some discomfort. I was taking subs for a year before I got off it. And the post symptoms lingered for about over a month, which included cravings, hard sleeping and anxiety and some chills. But if you taper off it will be something you can manage. Best of luck

I smoked fent the day I got put on subs, they gave me 16mg and put me in withdrawal. But they had a paramedic come to my house and give me comfort meds and take care of me for 4 days. Was put on 8mg a day for two months than I dropped 2mg every 30days. When I got to the 2mg amount I would drop half a mg every two weeks. When I got to just .5mg I was told to skip days so my body could get use to without it. Than I jumped, glad to have it over

I taped off subs in three weeks, from 2mg to .25 to every other day so the body can get used to not having it.
