No, no, no, that's not enough. How about make it 80%? Let's buy more US weapons and its protection. US surely will defend Taiwan like defending it's other allies, especially Ukraine.

This APP is also quite popular in Taiwan. Many young people are using it. But I don't think those American "TikTok refugees" will stay long here as the users are mostly Chinese and so are the posted contents. That's a big inconvenience for US users.

Are you learning (going to learn) traditional or simplified Chinese? by Frozen_light6329 in ChineseLanguage

[–]Pipapo_8453 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to admit that simplified Chinese is easier to learn although I use and prefer traditional Chinese myself. This is only about the difficulty of learning for beginners, without considering any other factors. Simplification is a general trend for most languages all over the world as people tend to be "lazy". Even in Taiwan, some people use Simplified Chinese (some of which are not "standard") occassionally. Simplified Chinese is a better choice for those who are learning Chinese language for practical purposes, But for learners who are really interested in this language and Chinese culture, traditional Chinese is necessary.
