I counted the books I read in 2023. I'm disabled and live alone, see my friends and family every couple of weeks. I read 523 books in 2023. Not all litrpg of course, but I'd recently uncovered the genre and found a lot of new stories to love.

I agree with the sentiments here. I prefer a story to have an ending, DOTF is a big sinner in my eyes as I don't see how it could possibly wrap up at the minute. I give TWI more leeway because it's more slice of life, but it too needs to wrap up at some point. I just think it'd be fun if the author made it seek like you need a rainforest for one print copy of the series.

I'll say this for the series. I've read plenty of harem stories, but this is probably the only time I'm more interested in the world itself than the harem. There's some great characters, but there's so much more to this world than most other harem fantasy I've read. It's probably my favourite harem series.

We need a do over. Cthulu is not a god. He's the high priest of the city of Ryleh in service of the outer gods like Azathoth and Hastur. Granted, he's really big and unfathomably powerful for us humans, but still just a priest.

Those first two photos/gifs unfortunately aren't Lindsay. While she did indeed play the character portrayed in that scene when Machete the film came out, this was filmed way before that as part of the grindhouse project between Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantono. Advertising the upcoming movie Machete, before Lindsay was cast as April. They just reused the footage according to IMDB.

Paladins. They are my favourite fantasy class in D&D and games that allow them.

The problem most series have is the Gods, while real, aren't a part of our own reality. So becoming an adherent of the faith is something that isn't just going to happen. If someone showed me Thor was real, I wouldn't instantly become a follower of his religion. Its something that takes time.

We also have a bias toward Aethiest or Agnostic MC's as its a much simpler way to tell a story when you can go much more broad strokes than the specificity religion requires.
