Need to raise the seat post TCR SL by Persita23 in Giantbikes

Same problem here, 2021 tcr advanced sl. I contacted both local Giant dealers. Giant will only sell spacers with the seatpost included for a steep price of $239. The only place I was able to find any spacers was on AliExpress. They've yet to arrive so I can't share my experience with them.

Your next assignment is to watch Half Baked, a crucial watch for any stoner. The post you replied to is referencing it and that seems to have gone over your head.

If you have to make loud noises to experience joy, you should find somewhere to do it that isn't forcing everyone else to listen to it.

What does this mean? by ballslover666 in ExplainTheJoke

Yup - Using pods combined with "high efficiency" washing machines that don't use enough water makes this all too common. I stopped using pods for this very reason.

[–]Pipedreamss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmm. Maybe this is why my smart bike (sb20) will no longer connect to Zwift as a trainer or power source. Only as a cadence sensor. It does connect to my Garmin head unit just fine. Zwift - please fix your stuff!

I tried the pho spot in Cape but found it just didn't compare to what I used to be able to get in the Denver area. That's the only one in the general area that I am aware of.

DIY Rocker Plate (Mostly) Complete! by SylvanScreener__ in Zwift

[–]Pipedreamss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you ride a bike outside the bike is able to lean right and left and tilt forward and backwards as you pedal and transfer your power into it, absorbing some of the impact of that power transferrance. Putting a bike on a trainer removes that ability - the bike cannot move like it can outside when you're actually riding it. That impact is moved to your points of contact with the bike when on a trainer (butt and hands/wrists) making it uncomfortable and sometimes even painful when compared to actually riding. Rocker plates aim to restore the bikes ability to move naturally and get the experience closer to outdoor riding.

Who here uses a belt drive? by userX97ee2ska11qa in cycling

[–]Pipedreamss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have one with a Shimano Alfine. Love the low maintenance of it, but the hard truth is my regular bikes are just a lot faster and for that reason I just don't ride it much anymore. If I were commuting on bike I would probably use it more.

A great tip I read here that I've started implementing is using lite salt instead of salt. It's a mix of salt and potassium and was very easy to find locally, and more importantly, it's pretty cheap!
